I have one bone to pick with these recent FGs.
Their fucking controller friendly setup sucks hughe throbbing clocks for Arcade stick.
I usually would play with the top 3 buttons for L/M/H and the 1st bottom button for a 4th button, like drive in BB tag or assault in UNI, but these games expect you to use pad so for example granblue wants me to do H+U for SSBA, so that would be, in SF terms, HP+LK, and that’s just not comfortable, so I tried moving U to what’s essentially HK, but then to do Narmaya’s trick where a 5L into U gives you a c.M on regular hit I need to jump all over and back. So I am basically forced into default using a square of buttons.
Also the SF style HK button is just not a button I am using unless I am playing a 6 button fighter, and where I have it in muscle memory, and it’s used more frequently. It just feels unnatural in games where it’s not used for something slow, but for something fast and in general I have to use less than an HK.
If you’re using a stick why can’t you just hit the heavy button with your ring finger and the LK button with your thumb? I think there’s a similar input in KOF. It’s not that hard with a bit of practice.

Is pressing “LK” with your thumb and “HP” with your ring finger really that uncomfortable?
You could also consider mapping “U” on the bottom left button, especially since it looks like Narmaya uses it a lot in stance changes, so that’s the most important button to be mapped comfortably.

If you use the technical input (QCFx2), you only need to press U when performing an SSBA.
EDIT: Though the technical for Ladiva is a 720, because of course the grappler has to be given 360 and 720 inputs even when the game built around easy inputs and a “shortcut” input. So his shortcut (which is still QCF+S+U) is arguably rather more practical than his technical than it is for others.
Often (maybe not always here) bitch about living in the sticks… but it’s nice to live someplace quiet and isolated, and also my dog is great. I just liked this photo. Summer soon.

I can understand that, but, aside from semi-seasonal floods, it’s not even exciting or dramatic rain. It’s just rain. Slow, steady rain. Thin rain. Clouds close to the ground. 8 out of 10 months. Non stop drizzle. @bisonator can back me up, iirc, he’s a Yorkshireman. Weather is one thing that Lancastrians and Yorkies can agree on.

Besides, I never was much of a fan of this lifestyle. Cities have me spoiled. As long as I can walk to most places I need to go, I’m good.
Nah, it’s a gravel road. Gets nasty in the bad weather, though, and is on a slope. And the times I’ve worked in London or Leeds… oof. I discovered I’m just a bumpkin. I can’t wait to get out of cities after a few days.

my college already taking precautions due to covid, classes aren’t cancelled but certain things like scientific/sport events and other things are temporarily suspended

Mine got delayed a week. Pretty sure it was the smallest delay out of all the public colleges in Rio.
Considering how today played out, I guess it’ll be extended…
At the expense of no vacations in the middle of the year. This will be rough.
