Any eveny in the next two months is effecticvely canceled. There’s no pretending they’re gonna fire because after X amount of cases, cities are gonna have to start doing quarantines proactively as preventative measures.
Then comes the issue of flare ups foe the rest of the year. By flare ups I mean that the virus resurfaces and we gotta go through the whole thing again.
Its slow moving at first but everybody has to shut it down.

My Tuesday local is hosting a goddamn MELEE tournament now. Fuck that. CRTs and BO are bad enough without those dudes being the nastiest of the nasty.

I wonder what’s the situation with the virus in Japan, since Toushinsai and KVO are also likely to be cancelled. And if there’s no Toushinsai - there’s no Cooperation Cup this year either, for the first time since 2002

The best thing everyone can do is shut EVERYTHING down for the next two months. Companies and people thinking that this shit doesn’t apply to them will be the reason this lasts all the way until next year. People have to understand this isn’t all about you, it’s about everyone.
If Evo announces it’s cancelling now, it may cut some of the losses.
If they leave it until the last possible minute and actually start dumping too much money on it, Mr. Wiz won’t be able to even eat something out of the dollar menu.
I know none of you are the proper people to answer this, but out of curiosity, if we feel the onset of a cold, what should do we do?
Should we do a test right away, or self-quarantine and stay away from family living under the same roof until we know if it’s a common cold or something worse?
