if you gonna run that team id put gohan as mid trunks as anchor. Unless you only running it that way for gohan to support trunks flip nonsense at which point just get rid of him for bardock as he’s way better at it with his new B assist.
Teen Gohan B assist is very good so I don’t know why you having problems with it.

I can’t really get used to them at all. 
Kinda had the same problem back when I played TvC with my friends. I suck at team fighters even more than 1v1s.
