Hey guys, I’m trying to pick ammy but I have a little dilemma about her position. I found out that ammy actually does damage with vergil. but if I do Ryu/Ammy/Vergil instead of Ryu/Vergil/Ammy I’ll lose my TOD.
Thinking about it, R/A/V has the benefit of ammy with rapid slash plus derp vergil the bad thing is I’ll lose my ryu TOD.
while R/V/A has a TOD and vergil with cold star, but Dark ammy isn’t as strong as derp vergil.
what do you guys think?

The team benefits most from Ryu being first because he gets access to two great assists. Vergil or Ammy being second is personal preference. with Ammy being second Ryu gets access to ToD with Ammy’s TAC infinites into raw tag techs and VoM. With Vergil being second, he gets access to much more consistent SS loops. The best part about the team is when Ryu expires the team becomes anchor proof. Although Vergil is the best anchor in the game hands down, Ammy is at LEAST top 5 in the game.

I know this place hasn’t been as active as much but going to ask for some thoughts anyway.
After messing around trying to get back into playing UMVC3 in my spare time I’ve found Ammy/Dante/Shuma to be rather fun and interesting.
Right now however I’m debating if it’s better to keep Ammy as a Point, Middle or Anchor for the team. Both Dante and Ammy benefit from Mystic Ray assist and both can DHC into one another to finish off opponents. Bare in mind I still need way, way more practice with UMVC3 again having not touched it for over a year and a half.
It’s a solid team.
I think you can raw tag from ammy to shuma, though, i dunno how much extra damage that will lead to
