anybody in or near moval want my ultimate edition preorder? after seeing the unboxing vid, i’ve decided that it’s not worth the extra $40.

yeah, this is on another level. Heh, I definitely had to beat my friend to the punch and get a few trophies…I have about 4 or 5 already.
heh, I had it made in the shade on this issue…since a new gamestop opened very close to where I live, it only took about 20 minutes for me to leave, get the game and be back at the apartment, ready to play(ha, and this included some time spent standing in a short line). It’s ok to envy me now.

I took pleasure in scaring the shit out of that guy that was imprisoned by where you get the arrows. Heh, I had that giant fire-breathing dog out of the cage, and he just kept screaming like a little girl like KEEP THAT THING AWAY FROM ME! NO NOOO! haha, it was great. I found great pleasure and entertainment value in his torment, much like a 6th grader bullying a 4th grader.
I’ll just rent it. No point dropping 70 on a game that you can beat in a week without even trying all that hard.
I hope I have to try on hard mode at least. A lot of reviews suggest skipping normal altogether if you’re familiar with it
Yeah I should have skipped normal, it is slightly easier then the other GOW games. I am sure they had pressure to dumb down the difficulty to make it more appealing. I got the Ultimate Edition as well and it comes with instructions on how to open Pandoras Box lol.
I too have purchased the game. Unfortunately I am too busy to play it until friday.

[details=Spoiler]It was ok,imo. He caused all the chaos, he was “the bad guy” in a sense. I didn’t like the Pandora box effect story, where the evil cloud affected all the gods and turned them evil (paranoid). Seemed like a given excuses, as to why they turned on kratos.

Worst collector’s edition i ever bought. Not worth the extra 40 bones. Game is fuckin dope though
most collector’s editions are good. Because the game is so “fuckin dope”, it makes the collectors edition look and feel like shit due to it not being up to par. amirite?

[details=Spoiler] I just beat Hermes on Hard. This game is crack. The hardest fight for me so far was Hades. Would get to the last phase before he bulks up and die to something random. I have Poseidon’s Trident, Helios Shield, and Hermes Coin. Are there any items I am missing so far that unlock when I beat the game?
