I like that they moved the button press icons to the sides of the screen. I can associate their placement with the button to press much faster than just seeing it in the center.
Seems I’m the only one who doesn’t like that. I’d rather the icon appear in the center, as it always used to.
Your going to fight Kronos later in the game revealed by Gametrailers so the titans will betray you after all. Everyones going to die in this one. I bet you the ending will have Kratos kill himself by jumping off a cliff.
I like the older way more as well. Before it was just look in the center and rely on your reaction time to hit the corresponding button, now I have to look around the screen for the correct button and then hit the right button. Their will hopefully be an option to change it to the older method.
Just finished the demo and it looks like this game will be just as solid as the first two. I passed on getting Dante’s Inferno for the real deal. :tup:
I agree. Half the time I didn’t even see them immediately. I have a big TV and I sit kinda close to it (Japanese apartment…) so I’m having to visually scan the entire screen to see where the prompt is going to come up, which means missing out on the action.
Oh well, a minor complaint for what’s looking to be a wonderful game.
played the demo today. looks amazing. only complain is the camera. why not have a 360 degree camera like most games? everything else is great though. will buy first day.
Camera didn’t bother me at all. Then again cameras in various games never bothered me.
But Heavenly sword was nothing like God of War.
And to date, out of all the hack n slashers…Heavenly Sword has by far the best voice acting and story. It was MUCH too short, the Achilles heel of the game.
I can’t wait to beat Yakuza 3 first then jump on this game. The spike TV preview was dope, looks like it’s going to be an epic experience to say the least.
Well the fixed camera allows piss-easy roll system by just having it be the right stick, and it enables the devs to make you marvel at the art of the level design, which I don’t find all too bad. Of course there will be some parts that it’s annoying but I like the fact that I never have to worry about the camera.
i think kratos wants to fuck both the titans and the gods, leaving him as the sole ruler. though how it will play out? who knows, he might die in the end.

No he won’t. Both times he fought his way out, he had assistance. Gods the first time, and Titans the second. Even this time with III, he has some assistance (I assume). With both gods and titans on his hitlist this time, they might just leave him there if he dies again.
