for all the games that are played, hit that practice mode and work on your execution first and foremost. you’ll pick up strategies and tactics from talking, playing and watching everyone. feeling their energy and shit.
hell, i don’t play Marvel AT ALL, and you saw how i was up at school carrying you and almost everyone else in that game.
at the gathering tho, i played 1 match against Tyranidman in that shit, and he almost perfected me. i got owned. i’m not interested in Marvel because i’m too far behind, and i’d rather focus on another fighting game.
but anyways, i still need a ride down to the gathering… 
imma try and get a hold of Unreallystic, and see what’s up.
and to those that said they are interested in learning KOF2k2, i can bring my CD with the game on it, but if Unreallystic doesn’t bring his computer, what’s going to go down? i guess it will just be kof98 on the dreamcast if that’s the case, unless one of ya’ll got 2k2 on dreamcast…

I’m pretty much new to the whole arcade scene but since I figure I play CVS2 everyday on Xbox Live I might check it out. I posted earlier asking questions on a seperate thread and Koop was cool enough to gimme a quick rundown of the who’s who of MD.
Anyways I’d like to hook up at one of these gatherings and meet some of you guys since none of my boys play 2d fighters.
So if one of you guys would be nice enough to clue me in on the next gathering…IE where it is directions, time and date I’d be down with coming out and checking it out…

my buddy plays that shit. ive been to his house and played it. the lag is horrible. last time i was playin it i played one character and quit cause the shit is unplayable at times. you might want to look for him. his name is rockmanx4. pm him if you want. you guys should have a good connection since you guys are pretty close.

The lag isn’t that bad but I don’t have anyone to play this game with so when it came out on Xbox live I had to have it.

A game runs about 4 minutes long from start to finish
I’ve played about 4700 game on Live = 18800 minutes = 313 Hours = 13 Days of CVS2 Goodness
