paid 3.74 yesterday. ^ that’s the main problem here in the us–everything is so damn spread out that you have to drive everywhere
Did $20 on 3.94 near East Chicago and saw $4.19 out in Orland Park.
Good job America, re-electing Bush was a BRILLIANT idea! No matter how bad Kerry would have been, it has to be better than this.
Is the MTA an option.
I take the train and it takes me a little over an hour to get from where I live to enter Manhattan. Of course, having to transfer to another train might add another random chunk of time to your commute.
In NYC, unlimited Metrocard for the win.
Then again, I travel for college, work, sports, games, etc.
Just went up another 6 cents here to sit at 3.89/gal. Cali peeps are getting bent over.
Oh yeah, and I’m not even in the Yay Area.
Consider yourself lucky, because in NY it’s $4. The point that I’ve heard before means the economy completely falls apart. I suppose it did fall apart, what with the recession and all.
my car ran out of gas…and i didnt have money. so i was asking people for change and shit, i got enough for 2 gallons…i walk back to the car, i tripped and some FUCKING HOW the cap came off and spilled everywhere. i skinned my knee and my chin. fuck my life

potomac valley (a portion of rockville, lol) has theirs like this:
3.99/4.15/4.35/4.65 [diesel]
wow… waitin for that first news report of a gas tank gettin jacked…
I’ve become more and more reliant on my bike. I got a pair of saddle bags the other week and I ride to the grocery/video store. I started riding to work too, but not as often as I’d like since there aren’t many sidewalks or bike lanes around here and I sure as don’t trust these crazy ass drivers.
When gas inevitably hit four bucks and beyond, I don’t think I’ll have much of a choice.
I miss my spontaneous road trips.
CTS-V is looking more and more like a pipe dream…not cause of the money, but cause of the damn gas!
#&(^@(&@)&)$&(#^)&#)#*)#
Man I’m fuckin scared getting gas nowadays, now this shit is like 3.70 fuckkkkkkk. Metro starting to look good nigga about to jump on this shit.
its been over $4.00 a gallon here in Chicago for at least 2 weeks, where I fillup for the 87 octane is was $4.05 :wow: and thats in the suburbs where there is no chicago gas tax
Didn’t somebody mention in another thread that somehow we can get gas prices down to pre-crisis levels through processing coal or something?
We about to reach $4 here shit fucking insane taking my $50+ to fill up a fucking Honda!
i’m debating if i should get rid of my wrangler. my 3 year warranty expires this summer and it gets like 18/21 mileage. it’s only got 19k miles–should i just keep it and hope for better president (haha)?
3.71 here in Orlando. Cost me about 47 dollars to fill up my mustang GT…Thank the lord the 5 speed helps a tiny bit… I’m gonna have to have 2 jobs just for gas…
I don’t know… I’d advise to keep your vehicle. According to Consumer Report, the best time to get rid of a vehicle is when you spent around the same amount of the face values in repair. I.E. If you bought a chevy for 23k, keep it until you spent 23k in repair. That way you’ve gotten the best of your vehicle.
I live in a place where public transportation isn’t total shit, it’s something to appreciate in times like these. If anyone needs bus/train tix student rates are likely the best rate possible. I may not be in college, but I am still taking advantage of lol college id from 4 years ago, cutting bus ticket in half.
