Gotta be able to stop it every time. For example if i know somebody is using a slower AA(9f+) that requires full concentration, I’ll jump a second time to be sure that’s what they’re looking for then I’ll immediately dash forward because there’s no way you’re reactively using a slow AA and can still be ready to react to a dash.

The silly jumps are if somebody keeps jumping into the braindead AAs

Chances are you’re gonna miss that slow one eventually or you’re not ready for dashes

You need to talk a mate into learning it with you. Then just have fun.

Yeah, this would’ve been easier when I still had real life friends lmao.

Anyone wanna learn MVC2 with me? I gather we can play on Parsec. Though I’m not sure how well it works.

Also, not planning on dropping any of my other games (SFV, BFTG, SC6, etc) anytime soon.

Eh. I love MvC2 but I don’t trust Parsec for shit. Would rather start learning BFTG.

GGs @Flack0. Sorry I can’t stay on longer but I really need to get to bed early, I need to beat this headache I’ve had all week.

Wish I had real fundamentals, just feels like I get carried by Ed now. Ah well

DBFZ thing we hadn’t mentioned before.

It seems that assist cool down is somewhat delayed until you back off your offense for a moment.

This is a great change in my opinion as now you won’t be able to extend you blockstrings so long assists actually cool down. This also mitigates my big complaint about vanish somewhat.

Might be worth going to GameStop. They’re selling regular and deluxe editions of Granblue.

Maybe cuz they know a bunch of EX spam is incoming.

Just heard the comback mechanic is a flat 10% power boost. That doesnt sound too bad on paper.

I was gifted a Granblue code, played through a good chunk of the tutorial. I had gone lukewarm on it reading what I had until now, but so far it feels pretty meaty and much more impactful that I’d been expecting, which is something that often bugs me in FGs. For me, games can be as nuanced as ever, but if they aren’t crunchy and satisfying to play, to feel, they leave me cold. So far so good!

Also because EX moves are cheaper. Sparking is weaker.

Pairing it up with Sparking, which gives another 20%…

I dunno. I don’t really like it. But let’s see how it plays out. Game might as well be brand new with all those changes.

Huh? Why is that? Do you mean it literally or in a meta way?

How so?

Remember I’m new as fuck to this game so I’m still getting my head around the meta.

EX Moves deplete Blue Health.

Limits regen.

One of the final tutorial missions has the goal as just “Beat Gran”, and fuck, I’ve never read it like that before

To be clear this was true since season 2, but an EX move was still almost always very not worth spending the bar.

That’s pretty cool, I’d just use it to add insult against tea baggers lol.
