They’re kinda like Anarchists, if Anarchists were less about throwing bombs for the cause and more about being selfish assholes.

The health and stun buffs were strange to me. Like they gave Urien +25 health and +50 stun. Like, did he really need that? Most of the characters in the tier list around him like Menat, Mika, Kolin and Zeku didn’t get anything.

I just noticed: there’s no Vega’s V-Skill in there.

I assume that Seth just doesn’t take any move from Vega out of fear of contacting his bottomtieritisis.

Because all four of them are little girl characters.

I… didn’t notice that. What does Seth steal from Vega?

The roll iirc.

Crimson Terror. Ninja’d by Volt.

Speaking of characters that do not get moves stolen, I was doing Seth’s Arcade mode yesterday.

The goon on the barrel mini-game does not have a stealable move, not even the punch Seth gets in the mirror match.

That probably means that the Shadaloo golden soldiers also don’t give anything.

This was completely irrelevant to everyone, but I learned it by playing a FG, so I must post it here.

Okay, Seth is actually very cool. Got to sit down and play her a bit in training mode. That V-trigger 2 is deadly.

I’m a little bit surprised at how the hitbox for cr.mp seems to be cut off a bit from the tip of Seth’s fist. It’s not the first time it’s happened to a character and I understand what they are doing here, but I can’t help but find that’s one of the glaring issues with recent releases of characters. The most obvious probably being E. Honda.

I also find that Seth encourages microwalks and adjustments off knockdowns rather than full on ass-rushing the opponent. Despite me complaining about cr.mp not representing the hitbox itself, I think Seth gets lots of good tools for knockdowns such as forward-moving unique normals, the tanden engine, and the alluring v-trigger 2 ball.

Tanden engine has some pretty funny installs. Hearing Seth yell “ABI ABI ABI ABIGAIL PUNCH” made me laugh out loud. The “Installed” voice also might be my favourite line in the game now. Sounds so sinister and evil as it could possibly be while being kinda subliminal about it.

G has been presented ambiguously, so people don’t know what his deal is in the lore, some think he’s an idiot, but Rose is concerned since she can’t fully read him and Menat, despite being young and still learning, can’t read him either. Q is a total mystery, he has elements that make it seem as if he’s like some depictions of the Hulk and just wants to be left alone, lashing out at those that pursue him, some things show him to be controlled and some things make him seem a bit malicious.

Heh thanks, I am a bit obsessed with the mystery.

Yeah, I’ve been loving, the info that’s slllllllllowly trickled out, there’s just so many tiny details that offer a lot of speculation but no concrete answers. I keep swinging back and forth, but I do NOT think G is Q. They’re very closely tied and have matching animations especially his new V-skill 2 is my favorite ol’ Q taunt. I feel that G has yet been allowed to become enough of a problem that he’s captured and taken in by the Secret Society. He’s so far used as a tool for Gill’s public unveiling campaign. I feel that G captures or takes his loyal subject and makes them into Q’s basically. There’s concept art that shows a man and woman in G’s story costume which differs significantly from Q’s. G’s story costume is fancy and eye catching while Q is very plain and, not looking at his mask, has him blending in rather well.

I hope you guys don’t mind the plug, but my moths of research about G & Q can be seen below. The Pre release speculation and the Post release analysis.

PRE-RELEASE Speculation on G

POST-RELEASE Analysis on G

Overall I really enjoy G, but I hope there’s more story stuff in the future to cement him as a future boss, because right now it looks like the game is split between Bison and Gill for boss dominance. I want a General story II at the least.

This is an important distinction. The rest of us are talking about this cookie insanity while eating poutine.

How appropriate that Seth arrived on Valentine’s Day because he’s all love!

Yeah, we noticed on that part where they yelled that they wanted all of the fighter’s skills inside them.
