Damn all Youtube gave me was this random Dragon Ball recommendation that made me laugh my ass off. Old school Dragon Ball was the best.

ā€œHowever, she felt that now that she had been kicked there, her only choice was to become this boy’s wife!ā€

Just like real life…

Missing frames, assist tweaked, like more or less invincibility…lots of glitches fixed/removed tronne Bonne assist, and I think juggernaut glitch too. Mad random slowdown, smaller sprites, changed sound effects and over all worse audio

She’s cuter with her oversized teddy bear.
Also her Suit always reminded me a lot of Jack-O… dunno why.

I see toppings on that pizza, you ok with that?

Yo,can’t believe i am listening to some tracks from All American Rejects.

It’s been a while.

Bro, I could just teach you what’s good. It’s a hard game to get into. There is a pretty good dreamcast emulator I found call ReDream. It’s new-ish and it runs mvc2 great, especially compared to NullDC. I also found a rom/bios/wtf they are called that has mvc2 in it with everything unlocked right off the bat, saving you hours of work to unlock everything.

I would only go for the Dreamcast pick up if you REALLY want to play Marvel 2. You could always just burn a copy onto a blank CD-rom which would save you a few hundred dollars on the game, but the console itself will usually be jacked up in price, especially in Canada, for some odd reason.

I bought a cheap RCA to HDMIadapter for my Dreamcast when I got back into the game a few years ago and it works alright. Some players (including myself) have noticed that there is a very minimal amount of lag (only noticeable if you have over a decades worth of experience with the game) since it is a conversion after all. Some of the better RCA to HDMI converters such as the Framemeister go for $300+ CAD, so you kind of have to pick your battles if you want to play this game optimally.

Personally, I think your best bet would just be to get an emulator (such as ReDream) and play using ParSec if you really want to get the true MvC2 experience.

Of course, if the opportunity ever presents itself, I could just haul my Dreamcast setup to some event in Toronto or surrounding area sometime. CRT MvC2 in all it’s glory.

Priority system, wifi Ken, PC Vega on Altimor patch. This game online fucking sucks and has totally idiotic systems.

Also the dreamcast is not a particularly well made piece of kit.

I’ve got 3, and I’ve had to do work on all of them to keep them running.

Putting the call out to @FlyingVe @GetTheTables @Flack0 and @Yiceman2K again~

Not at the moment, got work to do.

Maybe later, if so I will let you know.

Let me guess; Capcom fixed the glitches and problems and people complained? Like always?

@Volt
Have you seen the state of Dreamcast/Naomi emulation? The Retroarch peeps are the only ones that progressed anything in like 5 years. Demul is good, but a pain to setup. Plus Retroarch has very little input lag with most emulators period. They’re shader system is so good that I’m tempted to get out of the rabbit hole and go back to emulation.

I appreciate it! I haven’t heard of ReDream and NullDC wasn’t great, so I’ll certainly look into it.

I also appreciate the feedback of the adapters. I played this game a lot for years (super casually though - didn’t even know about pushblocks or that infinites existed), but it’s probably been 10 years since I played it, so I likely wouldn’t notice any lag.

And yeah, if I did get a DC, i’d just burn the game. I found some DCs on Kijiji for around $100, which isn’t terrible considering, but add in the PS4 adapter and maybe the HDMI crap and it starts adding up.

Anyways, I appreciate the tip about ReDream and ParSec. I’ll definitely try it out. And it was a shame I couldn’t make it to that event last October. Hopefully I can make it work next time.

Will look into this one too. Hopefully I find something that’s decent.

On Reddit, everyone seems to swear by NullDC/Demul and while I was happy to play it again, I wasn’t too happy with the graphics and special effect glitches that seemed way too present.

Fixed somethings, ruined a bunch others that were already mentioned.

Moving away from arcade perfect only works when you’re already planning to patch the arcade game too.
