Reckon we’ll get KoF 15 gameplay after SamSho?

I hope so. I always tell myself I will try to get into an SNK game but damn, they are tough for my little Capcom brain. Something about the movement in those games makes it seem like a steeper hill to climb than what it actually is.
The hop, hyperhop stuff is definitely a very SNK trope.
Dandy J did some good intro to KoF vids. Even Juice Box was streaming KoF 13 a couple of days ago.
14 was fun to play but was cursed with bullshit netcode.

That should be a given…
then again they could announce SamSho port for Samsung washing machines and a delay for the PC port.
The Dandy J videos are really good. Application of that stuff takes time the same way as anything else in these games. Maybe I’m just impatient.
I do remember playing KoF 14 with a friend who lived less than 5km away from me in the same city and it being a terrible experience. Plus, I wasn’t really a fan of how it looked and truthfully, have never really had any good experience with KoF or SNK games on that level.
My most played KoF game was KoF12, so maybe that explains a few things lol Garou looks fun though!
BTW watched your vid on the Evo linup earlier.
You’re missing one point in your MK argument.
Yes the game being full of gore is definitively the reason it’s not at Evo, and that’s because that’s all that MK is, you take out the gore and the game has nothing to offer.

Lets wishing it was MVC4 announcement but I doubt it to happen and be real.
OR another MVC3 expansion with Cyclops, X, Venom, Panther, Jedah, Ultron, MH, Thanos, Captain Commando, Gambit and Jin Saotome
Anyway

Legendary video. I have a picture with him from a few years ago and he looks visibly annoyed with me lol
He was wearing the reboot pin and everything.

Care to explain why you play this game, if it doesn’t bring you enjoyment?
Blame time zones for the late reply (I’ve skipped through some questionably stuff about Mass Effect, that trilogy is one of the best sci-fi experiences you can have, period. Doesn’t matter that none of the games on their own are flawless).
Anyway, Seth showcase matches: she looks better than I expected from the first video. Axe Kick is faster than it looked at first and you can even combo off it depending on the range. Damage seems solid overall but perception of that might be a bit skewed since her health is so low. V-Skill 1 seems to be absolutely ridiculous as a whiff-punishing tool - it’s basically Gief’s Trigger 1 available all the time. I was planning to use it for the gimmicky move-steal feature but it looks genuinely strong. If you can steal a powerful move, even better.
Health and AA options are currently the only things that worry me a bit. Yes, there’s a DP and that weird flip kick, but we’ll see if that’s enough. Mess up one AA and 50% of your life is gone.

When we played a few days ago i noticed you aren’t really aggressive enough. It doesn’t need to be an all match thing but you have to develop a sense of when to really turn on your offense.
Also i don’t think you use Laura’s fireball enough at neutral to force your way in.
Haitani talks about it one of the more recent fgc translated videos but it’s really hard to try to stop her from using her fireball and check her dash and anti air or play the ground game all at the same time.
It’s pretty obvious why mvc2 took bbtags spot. Everyone thinks it’s for an announcement for a new mvc, when in reality it’s for marvel characters being the new fate in bbtag

@Flack0
Your DP AAs are usually on point, but you still flail too wildly when someone’s pressuring you. It can catch people occasionally but you don’t switch it up much and you usually die when you finally get cornered. Need to look at ways to improve your defense.
Midscreen is a little better since you can read throws with backdashes, but gotta learn it’s okay to block sometimes
@FlyingVe
You need to threaten walk-up throw way, way more. Every character you rotate between (aside from Abigail) has really good walkspeed, but you kinda just walk up, hit a few buttons and then reset to neutral. I have no real reason to panic and press anything the majority of the time 'cause I know chances are you’re not gonna throw me. Gotta risk a throw attempt sometimes; even if I tech, that’s conditioning me for shimmies or staggers later on.
Still doing a bit too much “wish punishing” as well. Your defense when you’re cornered is getting better though.
@Yiceman2K
I don’t think your general approach/neutral with Laura is too bad, I’ll chalk most of not interrupting my walk-up pressure to our connection not being the greatest. Should look into ways Laura can deal with backdashing though; I didn’t have to fear your offense at all 'cause I could just backdash every time and avoid most of the threats. I’ll take a jab reset off of a backdash to avoid a 50/50.
I don’t have great advice in general about how to approach with Laura, the ones I’ve lost to in the past generally just capitalized heavily on the single moment they manage to get in and don’t let me play the game again. Just gotta develop that part~

- I really don’t play it
- sometimes I get drunk
now there is a great drunken mistakes insult there that I could have taken, but I won’t because it would be mean to someone I haven’t really interacted much, so I hope you appreciate my restraint.
I’d agree to that, I’ve never “really” played it, that said I do have eyes and I have seen other people play it, the game hasn’t a single original idea that can’t be put under the umbrella of “gore”
