Itās not even the graphics thatās the issue. They keep reinventing the wheel for no reason. FFVII Remake is the perfect example. 5 years and all theyāve managed to do is what? 4 hours of the original game? And why? Cause they decided they needed to reinvent turn based combat and the materia system again? They could have had the entire world map with reinvisioned cutscenes that donāt go over board done in those 5 years. FF X was made in a year and a half for comparison.
Honestly I think itās more of Nomura issue. That dude canāt make anything in a reasonable amount of time.
He made 2 mainline kingdom hearts and like 10 spinoffs (and other handheld games) in a span of like 10 years. Thatās a damn good track record. I just think thereās too much bureaucracy. FF XIII and IV did a huge number to their workflow. The entire company was needed to finish each cause of their mismanagement. the outsourcing of FF7 also caused issues.
I guess FFvs13/15 and Kingdom Hearts came to mind. If they have his doing that many projects at onceā¦well thatās just crazy.
I doāt think heās working on that amount of games anymore. His dev team was raided for probably over 5 years so he could never work on vs XIII. Kingdom Hearts 3 came out in a timely manner. He had nothing done when hey showed off the first trailer and he got a full game out in 3/4 years?

I lost to a zeku on forgotten waterfall tonight. Every time i would hit him he mashed so hard the game lagged. Then i managed to get a stun and dropped the game winning combo from more mash lag.
