To my knowledge the CvS2 scene in SoCal is pretty much dead or dying as well. 
I understand Smash is popular, but so is HALO. Granted Smash is at least close, but with 6 games, it should be the one to go. The community wouldnāt of really cared that much anyways. That said, I like Smash and while I donāt think any of the 3 games that might go should go, I look forward to seeing the matches that come out of this.
ST is just THE fighter, and if it gets cut due to HD Remix being too far away, itās a shame, but understandable. A HUGE shame, but understandable. May all this version BS finally die when HD remix is released.
CVS2 is a better game then it gets credit for and as Chensor said, they actually come close to beating the Japanese. Itād be a shame to see it cut at this point too. Having said that, I absolutely love ST and play it a hell of a lot, so it pains me to say that.
And then Guilty Gear, which people are whining against. Hating on Guilty Gear is hating on the future development of 2d fighters. It has to be the fasted growing game there is currently.
That said, I hope itās ST that gets cut. Itās the game thatāll get hurt the least from it, as ST is immortal and itās the game where the side tournament can actually be BETTER then what EVO can supply due to being able to use real boards. I love ST and play the hell out of it, so it pains me to say it, but itās true.
Guess itās time to learn MvC2 and 3s.
Itāll still get decent numbers, but I get a feeling that will be comprised of almost entirely people who are already planning to be there. GG will guaranteed draw on a different crowd, although I suspect huge numbers even without it as a main game.
3S aināt too terribly hard to learn so youāll be straight for that. Doesnāt hurt to throw 10 dollars on it and see where you go. Once you get the matchups down youāll be good. Marvelā¦god speed. :lol:
