It’s already for certain it won’t be VF. There aren’t going to be any 360s supplied by EVO. Some will be there for casuals though.

I won’t go to EVO though if there is no VF:wgrin: I presonally think that cvs2 or VF are better choices than GG because of type of players. cvs2 or VF players will enter other game tournaments. then last one would be cvs2. just my guess. like someone wrote before, VF5 might be 7th game. I don’t think VF takes a long time to finish running the tourney. there would not be as many players as other games as well.
well,and I don’t think it is going to be st4 either because there is no way they can prepare st4 for the final and the rest of EVO. Besides, if they could use st4, they would (should?)be able to use Tekken6, too. st4 has not released yet, has it? that’s too late… I guess.

granted, I LIKE the game. I love how crazy the learning curve is and how hype the game is in japan not to mention how the scene for VF5 EXPLODED when it came out on 360, I just don’t see it at evo though, unfortunately. But, hey, who knows, right?

I was talking about Japanese players who would come to EVO. I know there are lots of players who play both gg and other games.
VF ain’t gon be there unless it’s a side tourney. We all know that. I’ll paypal somebody 10 bucks if the last game is VF. :lol: This is coming from somebody who really would like the last game to be VF. Yet, for the community’s sake I believe GG is best as it will give GG a chance to really get in the spot light and stop being the new game that just can’t quite get its act together. I personally find the game really fun to watch and play as well and believe it deserves its chance to finally get out of its stereotypes and stigmas and just be a hype game that people like to see go down. Dramatically it would by far be the best game to allow at Evo. I see this year being big for the game if it is the chosen game.
BTW I’m all down for VF5 being the secret 7th event.
