yea I hope VF5 makes EVO but it looking like it wont though. It is a great game nevertheless, and if I go to evo then I would want to play it as as well as play some other games.

Sounds like Smash Bros. It technically is a 2d fighter, but at the same time it’s not old-school or traditional by any means.

Shaolin Monks was actually pretty good.
The sad thing is that game is actually one of the better games in the Mortal Kombat series.
