But i want to see her again.

dude she’s dead - that was her final scene

she’s not teleproting her way out of this one

No we don’t need literal death scenes for everybody. But you realize with all the drama built around the Sand Snakes in general, and how much screen time they were given, there was the opportunity where we could’ve had another dungeon scene with them, but basically only if Bronn were to find out about them, or stumble upon them somehow. But seeing how the show wants to wrap it all up at this point, there’s no room for new and continued plot lines for minor characters.

I don’t like wasted character development. We had that with the end of last season regarding the high sparrow and house Tyrell. They all died only to emphasize Cersei’s wickedness. They didn’t really enhance plot lines or have purposeful deaths like Stannis or Ned. Same as how I didn’t like the Tarly’s getting burnt up nice and easy when there were alternative routes that could’ve been taken.

the show ruined the sand snakes they were dumb and pointless. theyre never appearing on screen again. the show runners obv want to tie up all the loose ends and finish things up in 6 eps. plot armor is quickly running out. as soon as jaime kills cersei, he’s no longer safe. and now that jon has impregnated dany, he’s served his purpose. and so on.

feast for crows while bad had interesting nuanced scene with sand snakes. in the books, after the sand snakes failed rebellion, prince doran in a badass moment says of course i’ve been plotting revenge against lannisters - and you snakes will help me. his pacifist weak role in the books was all an act, while in the show he was just a loser. like usual suspects kevin spacey style. also i read one of their POV chapters in winds of winter - if it ever gets released - had good world building

Just curious but what makes you think Jon isn’t a main character that would at least survive until the end game?

I mean, he already died once.

Exactly lol

He’s still got 5 more before he catches up to Berric, lol.

Been on vacation, and very late to the party. My boy Littlefinger should’ve got the hell out of dodge when he had that conversation with Bran lol. The interesting thing about Littlefinger is that we run into people like him everyday at our jobs, in our families, and everywhere else. These type of people deeply enjoy starting shit, instigating shit, sitting back, and watching drama unfold right in front of them (watching from a corner just like Littlefinger whenever they can). Some of us can easily spot people like this and just try to avoid them, however, they will bring shit to your doorsteps for you to deal with. The best thing to do is play the game like Sansa.

For all you sociopaths out there, Littlefingers displayed one of your greatest qualities-manipulation. Hate to see him go because he was such a good character. I haven’t read the books but I hear he’s even better in the books.

I concur. Very good characterization and charismatic in the books.
It’s a shame they couldn’t develop him further in the show after season 5; Aidan Gillen’s acting was wasted this season imo

Littlefinger’s story trajectory went from driving nations to war with whispered conversations and daring betrayals, to spending an entire season failing to start an argument between two teenage girls who don’t even like each other.

Definitely a character that GRRM wrote better.

I know man. Feels like a waste of time that his story arc didn’t really go anywhere. Guess I’ll have to crack the books open to get the proper resolution to his story.

What about Queen Margaery? She should come back. Maybe they could reveal a scene in where she was like saved by some deity or something during that whole 9/11+ thing at the end of S6?

Well, I don’t see the harm. The story is already ruined. Might as well nosedive it entirely.

oh my god it was so good. im so sad it’s over

Why not bring back Rob Stark’s body with his dire wolf’s head sewn on top?

It can be reanimated by the Night King to gnaw Jon Snow to death in the final scene, then turn to face the camera where the wolf’s head will break the 4th wall to lecture the audience, in Patrick Stewart’s voice, on the dangers of investing millions of dollars and years of your life to make a prestige television show based on books that haven’t been completed yet.

he got dany pregnant. the lord of light brought him back to fulfill a purpose. knocking up dany seems like a good a purpose as any. he’s not really needed anymore

with the way the show is going now, he will probably die some heroic death in some ultimate sacrifice, thus the bittersweet ending GRRM hinted at, and leave dany and their kid to rule the iron throne. no conflict with who the rightful heir is. i only see dany and tyrion with final season plot armor - dany cause she pregnant (or alternatively she could die during childbirth and jon lives to the end), and tyrion cause i dont think theyre ever gonna kill him. i’d be shocked if all stark children make it through, which would be a happily ever after ending. the books don’t really do happily ever after, i don’t think the show will either

Snow is definitely needed now since he’s the proper heir to the iron throne. You can’t show that shit then just off him. He provides a storyline that isn’t just blind violence now.

it will cause a fake conflict where his legit claim to the throne drives a wedge between him and dany. but then its revealed she is preggers, and then in the big final boss fight he sacrifices himself, thus neatly tying up the story and ending the contention for the irone throne. THE END. either way, there’s no way dany AND jon make it out alive. you heard it here first folks

Fake conflict? That sounds like actual conflict!

The show writers have already dropped hints that Dany might not be entirely immune from the mad gene. That was dropped even before she went over to Westeros. Jon might be on her side now but if she threatens the lives of people or kills indiscriminately (would she have pardoned the heads of houses Karstark and Umber? We’ve already seen what she did with the Tarlys.) his honor would likely make him leave.

And for a man with no penchant or wont of kingship, he sure did take on many leading roles. First with the Night’s Watch and now with the North. We’ve only seen him relinquish a title after he was betrayed and killed.

So yes, it’s an avenue worth pursuing and one of the only ones where politics can still be used. I don’t need a slugfest every week, I need something that challenges my expectations and thinking.
