I know it’s a lot to digest, with all the characters and plot lines but seriously shit needs to get going, at the end of the episode I thought that at least we’d see someone pull out a sword to fight or like something. I’m kinda disappointed with this episode while the first was was OK.

The show is probably going to build that character up, and make fools love him even more than Ned.

I thought it was obvious from the get go, though.
I mean, he was the only member of that family over 7 years old, without a POV.
I had pretty much written him off emotionally, after his name didn’t turn up during the first POV cycle.
So I noticed they changed the opening by adding 2 new locations after showing King’s Landing (Dragonstone and Pyke). This upsets me… I mean it’s great they are showing the new spots but now the opening theme feels rushed and the song is extended a tiny bit. You can hear the song hang at certain spots and it takes away from the epic momentum of the song.
All that is nothing compared to my biggest complaint! Which is that they took out the shot of the sun overseeing Winterfell! That was the most beautiful and epic part of the opening theme with the violin being added to the song! Sigh… woe is me.
The song is also played on a higher note… Less baritone and less manly. You can tell on the first 5 seconds of the song. FUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuu
Dude, the locations changed every episode.
I think they added The Eyrie in the middle of the first season and took it out at the end. They only add to the places they go. But it looks like season 2 will have a lot more going on in more areas so the opening theme will change accordingly.
I think 7 of the 10 episodes on the first season had the exact same opening with 3 adding The Eyrie. The locations does not change every episode as you stated.

Can anybody who’s read the books tell me if we can expect more infanticide in the next episodes? My wife and I recently lost our first son and we’re considering not watching after this second one; it’s getting difficult.
