On the topic of Ghost and Arya’s Wolf. I think on of the main downfalls of the series when compared to the books is how absent the wolves are. I understand that CGIing them is a lot of money, but why CGI them at all? Why not use actual Huskies or Malamutes, or actual trained wolves? I don’t think people will care about the wolves being so huge, and that shit can be sort of done through old school camera techniques and digital effects in After Effects. White walkers vs an alliance of unsullied, wildlings, and dorthraki + dragons and wolves? That shit is so broken.

I think they used dogs for alot of the dire wolves scenes, and some of the scenes used the Dire Wolfs closest relative the North American Gray Wolf.
Yes Dire Wolves are an actual real animal, they died out at the end of the ice age.

First of all, appreciate the spoiler tags.

“Spoils of War” burned.

These past two episodes have a lot more dialogue that’s dense or silly, both in good ways.

For a while it seemed like we’d just be skipping along like a rock on top of a lake, not getting underneath the surface to explore what’s really going on. I appreciate the depth being achieved now. I guess it’s just too much fucking time that we have to cover.

Despite herself, Cersei managed to pay back the Iron Bank (maybe). I can imagine ships laden with gold sinking to the bottom after death by dragon.
Or perhaps (next spoiler tag)

I guess everyone was right: Dany was OP, Dany was too merciful, Tyrion’s plan sucks.

D&D had to write themselves out of a corner to make Cersei not just get burned to a crisp.

I remember the trailer. I saw Jamie riding a horse with a lance, through the flames. I was waiting all battle for it and I am still hard.

So when Dany and Jon were walking through the cave, that sexual tension could be cut with a butter knife.
I was half expecting Dany to be like, "So… you drew these, right?"
