The son of the actual King before fuckery sieged the lands? You know the heir apparent now that his actual heirs are all dead/ shouldnt have been there in the first place #starkssuckdickathand
They did do a little more than that. In their quest to gain revenge for the death of their family Elia Martell, her children, and Oberyn, they killed their family, Oberyn’s brother and his son.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Or wait, that was just all a part of their stupid plot.
Or just the TV Series heads deciding to completely fuck up Dorne entirely from the books. I’m still so pissed at that because before Season 5, Dorne was one of the things I was most looking forward to,and they botched it so badly. At the time I thought adapting out Arianne was the worst thing they could do, but it might actually have been the best thing about it considering how shitty it’s been.
The TV show long since decided to stop following the books, as George R. R. Martin not done writing the series and it was his idea that the TV show and Books made a split int he time line.
I thought the whole Lannister theme while Jamie Lannister was walking towards Olenna Tyrell was just epic.
Because those scenes didn’t happen on the exact same day. I know some people are that low in IQ that they tend to forget that certain shows have their own time line and not every scene takes place on the same day. Did you really count the running time of the show and just thought it was the actual same time frame with in the scenes in the show… were you like "hey, 20 min ago he was with Cersei how did he get over there 20 min after?
OBTW:
A huge part of me is predicting that Cersei, Snow, and Danny will align temporarily just to defeat the Night King. I don’t know why but i just think that this going to happen.
great episode. Some minor things I particularly enjoyed. Theon getting called out, olenna’s line about joffrey (basically that whole scene was awesome), Davos’ awkward introduction of Jon Snow, and Euron being Euron.
No. They are teleporting. Nothing in the scenes would imply that a long period of time has passed, and a long period of time is necessary for the amount of distance covered. Not to mention again how ridiculous it is that the unsullied fleet missed seeing Euron’s gigantic heat seaking magic teleportation navy sneak up on them, the same navy that happened to not see davos and jon snows tiny ship that magically covered a huge distance with no trouble. long period of time = scout ships would have spotted something. similarly, if a long period of time passed, somehow queen of thorns didnt have scouts that detected a gigantic lannister army coming their way, and changing plan accordingly? it is being done to expedite the plot, and make cersei seem like she has a fighting chance, when in reality she was broke, surrounded by enemies, hated by her own people, and outnumbered.
overall good episode - i like the ones that focus more on dialog than the battles. it seems every ep ends with a battle now - which makes battles lose their meaning when they are done all the time.
