The Game of Thrones OFFICIAL thread

I think Greyworm will die. Once a man manages to get love laid that is almost like saying “mission complete”.

Yo idk if Greyworm has balls, no balls, penis or none. But if I had no penis and saw that ridiculous Missandei body, I would summon all the forces withing me to grow a penis.

Everyone on this show is slated to die. You’re not exactly breaking new ground.

I will say this: the fast pace of the show now betrays logic and that’s a problem for me. A lot of shit just doesn’t make sense. Jon going to meet Dany JUST as he’s crowned the new King of the North is dumb even if he feels the White Walker threat to be big. She’s likely not to give a flying shit because she’s already mobilizing her army to take over King’s Landing.

Then there’s NO ONE seeing Euron coming. Even at night you’re bound to see dudes lighting shit up on fire to launch them. That and how can you not see a fuck load of ships? You’ve ever been on the water at night? Visibility is poor as hell, but you’re not going to miss a small army coming at you. If you can steer the ship you can see others coming at you. That and how the flying fuck did Euron even know where to find them?

And how is Arya so clueless? I get that she’s been running around and training and all that, but how the living hell did she manage to avoid the news of the Battle of the Bastards?

This is all really just getting a tad silly.

Maybe you should read some history books. There were ships that were literally designed to blend in with the night, it was a strategy for most pirates to gank the enemy, especially when there is no moon and a huge fog around the area.

If you take a look at the scene again not only was the area foggy but the ships themselves were rendered too dark for anybody to see during the night. dumbass

Of course your stupid ass is going to bitch about it.

I’ve done the boats at night thing and know they use dark paint to conceal themselves in the night (this was super apparent during WWI), but you CANNOT miss a fleet of ships coming at you. Yes, it was foggy and yes it was night but come on. We’re talking about a fleet that looked like it spanned at least a couple nautical miles. How the FUCK can you miss that even at night?

Then you have to ignore that they had to light those shits on fire, which apparently you have.

And should we also bring up that if the Greyjoys couldn’t spot Euron, then how the fuck did Euron find them in the exact same conditions? Far as I know the guy isn’t Riddicking his shit out there.

So sit the fuck down, you kook.

Not just that. They would also hide themselves firing up behind a flag, or at the rear of the ship which would hide the light from any vision. They are coming from the back, not the side. Some flags were also shaped in a way that it would make the ship look like a rock.

Please do research, you dumb mother fucker. Euron managed to find them based on his skill, he was the one pursuing them, he was more invested in knowing their movements than the other way around. He did say to Cersai that he was going to prove himself or somewhat to that line before he took off. On another note, the greyjoys were at the front while he was at the back. I think you are unintelligent enough to understand that the setting in their world is almost similar to the dark ages, in where fire wasn’t that great of a light source during a misty dark ocean scenery.

You dumb mother fucker.

Looks like they attacked the ships from the side, but I don’t have the video up to see it again.

And him finding them OUT OF NOWHERE is some magical bullshit and even your ignorant ass knows it. What magic power does Euron have besides “moving the plot forward” that helped him navigate an entire sea and JUST SO HAPPEN to intercept them?

You’re just dying to excuse it but even your Man in the Clouds can tell you that it’s some pulled out the ass nonsense.

You guys are really fighting over how one fleet of ships found another fleet at night, in a world where frozen zombies and dragons exist? For real?

How did Pirates and other warships manage to find their targets? It is called strategy and/or intuition. How are you that narrow-minded to not understand that some war groups, even historically, were just that smart in knowing how to keep track of their targets.

If your dumb ass watched the episode last week in where Euron arrived at Kingslanding, his first address to the queen was about the Greyjoys taking his ships and giving it to Daenerys and how they were all on their way to attack the Lannisters. So it was obvious that guy knew their movements already.

You are stupid as hell razor.

Given what she’s armed with on the EW cover, what is the over/under on when Arya will shank Littlefinger.

You’re just pulling that out of your ass. You have zero proof.

You’re grasping here imo. Jon got that letter from Sam about the glass at Dragonstone and had a letter from Tyrion asking him to come talk to Dany (it was after that entire scene where Melisandre, Tyrion, and Dany were talking about Jon and how he would be a good ally, that you seem to have forgotten). Jon has never really cared about being in power, so it’s not out of character for him to leave Winterfell and go to Dragonstone in order to defeat the Walkers. If you want to complain about something being ridiculously out of character, then complain about Jon randomly deserting the Night’s Watch.

The Arya thing is kind of weird, but I suppose news just travels differently throughout Westeros. News of a new queen travels through the kingdoms quickly, but news from the isolated North, not so much.

Complaining about Euron is also silly to me because, regardless of how the battle started, the end result would be the same. If instead of him ambushing them, they spot him from far away, it would just create a longer scene where boats shot fire and arrows back and forth for a while until he got close enough to land, the way the scene was shot allowed for more action. Also, if you watched episode 1 (I’m thinking maybe you didnt?), you would know that everyone expected Dany to land at Dragonstone, it was a good spot for ships to land and the castle was abandoned (and it was the old seat of the Targaryens).

So yeah, like I said, grasping…

I referenced the scene from last episode. You are very dumb, so i did expect you to act like an ass as a way to block all forms of common sense talk and just let it pass over your head. I know, there is feeling of embarrassment in you right now because deep down you know that you are wrong and made yourself look that uneducated and incapable of thinking normally, but you don’t want to accept that you’ve been common sense smacked so hey lets pull out the “you have zero proof” line to save egos here.

Yara was too busy trying to bang the Dorne lady and they were too relaxed thinking they’d just just appear at King’s Landing in the morning to lay siege.

He didn’t leave the Knight’s Watch randomly. He died. Killed by the ones he considered brothers in arms. It would have been weirder for him to stay after that betrayal.

I just can’t buy this. It’s massive news to have one of the major kingdoms suddenly change hands after a massive battle.

He would still have to know exactly where they would be coming from. Blackwater bay is pretty sizable and his new fleet didn’t seem to have more than about a dozen ships. How could he cover that much water to know exactly where they were going to be? That’s some damn luck. You could say they just waited around King’s Landing itself, but they weren’t there yet and even if they had been they still should’ve spotted those ships out there waiting for them.

So again, this just seems like quickening the pace of the show at the expense of logic.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

I should have been so sad at tge Sand Snakes deaths but I just didnt care. D&D really fucked their characters up. They are so likable and cooler in the book smh.

Also LOL at Dany already getting wet for Jon by just his fame. Melisandre BEST wing woman ever.

Jon is already halfway in the pussy without ever having to talk to the bitch yet. He better not kill her, fuck yo feelings Davos.

Dany is going to demand allegiance tho. Jon just has to take it because he needs the glass and the dragons.

Sand Snakes getting destroyed is just really sad. They hold more Ls than the Starks.

As far as the pacing, I wouldn’t mind faster pacing if it didn’t sometimes need leaps in logic.

I don’t know man, his new fleet is fucking massive. Watch this scene from s7e1 again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q1XzHrkCS8 (fast forward to about 35 seconds to see his new fleet). There are wayyyy more than a dozen ships there, it is more like 1000. IMO, so far, s7 is off to a really solid start. I wouldn’t consider either episode to be great, but they are really solid. To me, they’ve yet to make a mistake in this season. However, despite last nights battle scene being really solid (and Euron’s entrance being amazing), I do wish they made Euron to be more like the book Euron (imo the most badass character in the series). So far he seems to be a combination of Victarion and Euron (which tbh could be cool), rather than purely Euron. I hope he at least has a chance to display some of his legendary psychological warfare in addition to his battle prowess

Ah, those are a lot. I didn’t remember that.

That I’ll concede, but it still brings up the question of how was he able to build it and man it in such a small window? Building a ship can take as long as 17 months now. I imagine having to use just human/animal labor would take even longer. Then there’s the resources, which the Iron Islands barely have. Then the power to man all those ships.

There are that many able-bodied men on the Iron Islands?
