Thereâs still Tyrion and if Dany becomes Queen of Westeros sheâll just name him Lord of the house and give him Casterly Rock. In the books there are still a few Lannisters left.
Every house must have dozens of family members, of course, itâs not like big houses are composed of only 8 individuals or so, and of course they could pull another important Lannister lord from the sleeve at this point, claiming for a right of something, but as the showâs heading to an end it seems house Lannister is basically dead and buried.
I would have expected Cersei to wait for Jamie and crown him a king but we all know everyone hates that bitch, thatâs just a symbol for the extreme decadence of house Lannister now, theyâre freaking doomed. Thereâs a chance Tyrion ends as the lord of Kingâs Landing (heâs a war hero, after all) but itâs safe to assume Lannisters are never going to regain any glory, if the house survives at all.
House Stark was composed of 8 members in the beginning (yes, Iâm counting Jon) and so far only Ned, Cat, Robb and Rickon are dead, the rest are just scattered, which means the house is going to make it to the end either through Jon, Sansa, Arya or Bran.
I like the fact that the wildlings didnât join in the chanting during Jonâs âcoronationâ.
Theyâve proven their loyalty in blood and donât need no fancy southern talk or sword wavinâ.
As a matter of fact, Toromund was eating the entire time, even during Lady Mormontâs epic speech. lol!
You can see that coming from slavers bay, you pass by Dorne, so its likely to think they just stopped by to meet up with Varys on the way into Westeros. The question is, where are they planning to land. My guess is kings landing? They could just be crossing the sea of dorne to land in the south.
What puzzles me most, though, looking at this; how did the knights of the vale secretly get into the north without having to go through the freys? Isnât the whole point that moat caitlin is like a chokepoint between the two?
As for Aryas list, I just googled and found one somebody had put online. I do think The Hound is likely off of it, but I dont think Jaime or Tywin are part of it. Im sure Jaime gets his once Arya finds out he pushed Bran from the tower, though. And the red queen is likely going to die from Arya, especially after that scene where the red queen looks into her eyes, looks startled, and says she will see her again sometime.
Dany should know better than to trust a Lannister. maybe after taking down Cersei, she will eliminate Tyrion, as any true Targaryen would. Tyrion would choke Cersei and Dany would use a dragon to burn them both. not sure if Arya will kill Jaime because isnât she planning on returning to Winterfell?
Game of Thrones would just be so awkward if the tv series just concludes and Dany lets Lannister blood live on. also the white walkers and Dany army seem like they will eventually clash, which foreshadows the fall of House Stark, unless the armies that fight the white walkers win without the help of the dragons? or the Starks flee to towards kingâs landing and by then Dany is already the ruler and they form an alliance to fight the coming forces?
So, at this rate, if Cersei were to die, who does the throne pass to? There are no more Baratheons (true born or illegitimate - Gendry doesnât count) and there are no Lannister children. I suppose Jaime would have to produce an heir and then that child would have claim if Cersei were to die? Since we all know Hell will freeze over before Cersei ever gets married again.
Also, thanks to Cersei the Lannisters are more isolated than ever. They no longer have Dorne in their corner because Doran is dead. Cersei burned pretty much the rest of the Tyrells alive, so theyâre out. Walder Frey and his sons are dead, so theyâre out. They have no one with them and pretty much everyone against them.
Houses only survive through male heirs, hence House Tyrell is effectively dead. Same goes for House Lannister, although as Queen Cersei could relieve Jaime of his kingsguard duties and let him return to Casterly Rock and sire heirs (unlikely) or Ser Kevan could have some more kids (equally unlikely). In the books there are the Lannisters of Lannisport, but theyâre a cadet house and not the same as the main branch.
House Stark is only alive because as King of the North, we can assume Jonâs children would be considered Starks. Branâs a cripple, so I canât really see his dick working well enough to sire children.
House Bolton died with Ramsay. House Martell is arguably dead as well since the Sand Snakes are bastards, although things seem to work differently in Dorne.
She might have to wait until spring to take the North back, but in the meantime those fuckers arenât growing any food, and are getting their shit pushed in by hordes of undead and their inhuman ice wizard masters. Jon has neither the inclination nor the resources to take the southern kingdoms from Dany once she has them.
Which goes right back to my statement about it not mattering that Jon is the lineal heir.
Just saying Jon isnât ending up on the Iron Throne unless they start throwing plot-twists at us. He doesnât want it and couldnât take it if he did.
I actually see him asking for Dany to help out with the White Walker problem, and in exchange giving up the Northâs independence, to everyoneâs benefit.
Sheâs got a much better command entourage in the books, that is one big difference for sure.
Totally agree about the White Walkers, but the way politics tends to work the world will treat it as a North problem for at least as long as it is possible and convenient to do so.
