Is it me or does anyone else feels that the Starks are being robbed of their revenge? I was hoping Arya to use her assassin tech to eventually get revenge on Roose, walder(?) and all those responsible. I wonder what it would be like if lady stoneheart and crew was in the show…
The Starks wanting to get revenge and kind of getting screwed out of it sorta seems to be their story so far though so…it’s nothing out of the ordinary to me.

In the book, it is surmised that Euron Red Eye was trained by the warlocks from Qarth. He has blue lips. A ship of warlocks on their way to kill Queen Daenerys were captured. Euron was really tied to his mast when he went crazy for a while, probably from drinking that purple tea.
I actually don’t really like how the show for the last couple seasons have gone so off the rails with the plot but still throw in snippets of book dialogue. It comes off as a weak attempt to appease book readers after all the changes they’ve made to the story. Take next week’s Tower of Joy scene for example, they’ll have the “Now it begins.”, “Now it ends.” exchange but I doubt Gerold Hightower and Oswell Whent will be there and it’ll just be Arthur Dayne soloing Ned’s crew. Or how last season they had Obara say her “Oberyn made me choose between tears or spear” speech but at the same time completely ruin Dorne’s story.
If the show writers are going to write their own path towards the end game then go all in and have Tyrion talk about his magic dwarf cock for an entire season.

edit: So speculation now is that Jon Snow is born of Lyanna and Rhaegar, that actual song of Ice and Fire. Now that hes reborn who is no longer under the obligation of the Watch and if he finds out his heritage hes going on the war front to take the throne which is rightfully his.

Way way back in the first season of the show, I thought when Arya and Syrio Forel were training and Ned Stark was having a flashback to the war, I thought he was remembering his sister who is like Arya and so then I thought they were going to show when he “rescued” Lyanna from the Kings guard with Howland Reed. The flashback is partially in the first book.

She must have died from child birth. How else would she die? Sure as hell wouldn’t be the kings guard stabbing her.
The only other possible explanation is she was sick with the bloody flux or something, but that would seem extremely unlikely since she is high born and has very good hygiene.

My guess is Winter is Coming. When Daenerys goes “home”, she sees the ice army and melts the fuck out of them with Dragons.
Or maybe there will be a land bridge across the narrow sea once the ice accumulates at the caps, like during the ice age between Asia and NA. If there is a land bridge, there is some value to the Khal of Khals who will unite them all prophecy. They sure as fuck can’t fit all those Dothraki onto boats, much less convince them to go fight make believe ice people on another continent.
We all saw the Red Keep with the melted roof top and the iron throne in season 2 at the Warlock’s place. If prophecy is to be believed, it will snow in the capital and quite possibly the Dragons will destroy the roof tops.
It seems a lot of super fans on YouTube are speculating that Littlefinger aka Carcetti is like 12 steps ahead of everyone in the game, while all the other cunning folks are only 3-4 steps ahead.
Do you guys think there’s some validity to that? Is he potentially the secret final boss, or penultimate boss once the dust settles? He does seem to be playing the really long game and adeptly avoiding to step on anyone’s toes.
As long as the white walkers exist, Littlefinger will never be the “final boss.”
