i havent fought anybody here, and i was 1 of the 1st G1 players. I stopped playin around 17k tho
well I guess I should share my appreciation with what G1’s taught me. Not absolutely nothing. I can definitely tell a difference between my playstyle from when I started and now. It’s probably just more my dedication to learning the character, than playing the good, bad, and ugly players of G1.
I’ve got a few gripes about it. Most which y’all are probably aware of. I guess the biggest one is when my inputs don’t come out. This is more just relating to online than G1.
I was talking with a buddy of mine about it last night and he asked “Is it just me, or have a lot of talented players emerged to G1 recently?” I told him that it’s more likely one or all of the things that make online playing bad, which creates the illusion of mediocre players seem good, are conclusively getting them free wins.
He plays Dhalsim though so I imagine lag or not, that he will have a rougher time than somebody who can keep their hands to themself.
^is a cool story bro!
lag doesnt make bad players seem good. It makes good players seem bad. It slows them down nd messes with their timing, making their combos inaccessable.
How much points do u need to be a SG?
Well have you played me? Sometimes I get bored and pick other characters. I’m probably not the only one.
I like playing Free than Grade theren is more variety.
secondary character or not, you shouldn’t be using scrub tactics unless you’re bad at the game. i probably used 5-6 different characters and i know whats safe/smart, and whats scrub/stupid/punishable. Even if i don’t use sagat, i’m not going to mash DP’s if i felt like picking him one match.
…but no idea if i’ve played you. i pretty much quit sf4 before evo.
im on that marvel hype… even though there are tons of scrubs in ranked, but their are some really good people still.
