GG’s to both of you. i’ll be without internet for several days but once i get it back i’ll definitely try to play ST on GGPO. the game actually seemed fun after playing AE yesterday.
psychedelicbeat your boxer and guile were getting too good by the end of our session!
thanks again for staying so long calipower. next time you hold casuals there i’ll put up a better fight with Ken in 3s!
what happened with this whole howies thing? Sounds like fun since im the only person i know from all my freinds who plays fighting games and camelot is kinda far since i dont drive yet :…( and howies would just be like one bus to get too.
I will have more gatherings after EVO 2K8. Soul Calibur 4 is out and everyone is hording online. Hopefully some of you SC veterans will come out for some offline madness at howies.
I’ve been to Howie’s a bunch of times and all I see are people playing Battlefield, CoD 4, Halo 3, and Guitar Hero. Is there some special time fighting games are put on, that I have no idea about?
u go to UCSB too?
anyway, people only play fighting games there after they setup a gathering here on this thread and set a date/time to meet up. so you’ll just have to wait for valle to set sumthing up after evo.
I’m going to be at Howies on Sunday from like 12 to 2 if anyone wants to meet up and play some 3s. I’m looking to get good at ST also but I’m garbage in that as of right now.
Ah, I’m learning as I go. Did bring the stick, however.
Nevertheless, I didn’t see anyone there playing any form of Street Fighter. I also get the feeling they wouldn’t let us use our own disks if it wasn’t pre-arranged.
I’m thinking about starting to go to these meets to improve my cvs2(?), st, sc and eventually sf4.
I’ll keep an eye out for any meetings you guys might be setting up. I have finally realized that we need to embrace the new games rather than be a little bitch about it and outright refuse to play em.
