full trailer for bender’s big score will be on the fantastic 4: rise of the silver surfer DVD. each movie will be cut into 4 and aired as separate episodes, so we’re looking at at least 16 new eps next year.
IMDB has the titles for all four movies up. the next 3 are
I couldn’t really hear any difference in the voices, though Hermes sounded a bit weird to me at the beginning.
The movie was pretty good. At first, it seemed like they were trying to put too much in, like give references to a lot of past stuff, so the flow was kinda weird. But it was well worth it. There’s lots of extras, too. And I really didn’t see the end coming. I recommend it to fans.
Futurama was supposed to “come back” but instead they decided to make a series of movies right? How many movies? And there won’t be any TV shows, right?
Its still a bit confusing. I know that they’re making 4 Futurama movies, but I heard they were going to air those as episodes on Comedy Central. Now, I think they’re making episodes also… I think. This is from wiki:
Oh, and there’s a math lecture on the DVD. Best Special feature ever? I’ll let you know.
co-sign. i fuckin LOVE futurama. but the beginning was meh to me and i hated that they were fuckin w/ the canon. and i hated Lars at first. i didn’t see the end comin neither. shit was great. everythin that you love about futurama is in the movie pretty much.
Has anybody seen Benders Big Score yet? It’s the first new movie, and honestly, it blew me away. The story, the way everything ties into each other. It has all of the original hilarious Futurama humor, only it is accompanied by a brilliant plot and clever twists.
While watching it, a homey feeling returns. The feeling of watching a damn good cartoon. It was easily 10 x better than anything Family Guy or Simpsons have ever put out. They should have put this in theatres, this movie was actually that good.
bender’s big score was pretty good. the end even had me a bit misty eyed, futurama has the knack to going from completely hilarious to sappy and sad. I think this movie was a much stronger return than family guy. are they going to continue the show past this movie?
This is what I love about Futurama. It can make you laugh like nobody’s business, but then it can have a sweet/sad/warm message behind it all that’ll almost bring a tear to your eye.
The dog in your AV, for example.
Several Fry and Lela moments.
The fact that Futurama has substance is what separates it from Family Guy. They’re both hilarious, but Futurama has more to it than comedy. I’m going to check this movie out soon.
