In-store then it seems. I walked in today and they had the tag as 19.99. Only had 2 chun-li pads left. It didn’t have a sale or clearance sticker either so it seemed like that was just the price now. I imagine it’s to make way for the 2nd round fightpads.

I agree. Friend of mine was gonna go after the SDCC one or the MvC2 one, but he saw they were charging like $200-$250 for them online where he was looking, ebay and such so I told him to just get a normal TE. In all reality you’re paying for the artwork, it’s not like it’s special buttons or anything. Most the the limited edition stuff you can do yourself. I wanted a SDCC, but I’m like you, a TE is a TE in my book. I’m not gonna pay through the nose for some extra artwork, I’ll just design my own template.
But yeah, HRAP3SA is sexy even as stock. 
yeah, I got a femme fatale a while back just to save myself some time on painting the case white on a design I wanted. But I paid pretty much retail TE price for it, I wouldn’t have paid any of those crazy inflated prices. I guess if you’re just someone that likes to own something “limited” there’s nothing wrong with it, but if it’s just to play with, I don’t see the point in paying more.
I see those ‘unboxing’ videos of the MvC2 TE online and stuff and it just makes me laugh like “dude…it’s just a regular ass TE”, lol. But hey, to each his own, I guess it’s just exciting for some people.

I got a HRAP3 for 52, HRAP3SA 60, and a HFS3 for 10. He raised his starting prices for the HRAPS to $99 lol.

You can still get those HFS3 for 10 to 20 depending. Just watch the ones that end at like 11 or 12 PST and snipe em.
Yeah well I dont think I need them all but my plan is; SA for me, let my buddies use the plain HRAP and keep the HFS for a back up.

Yeah same guy. He better ship my shait or Ill be PISSED. I dont know for sure but Im pretty sure he has more, Ive been watching his auctions for the last few days. He only list 2 at a time and then once one ends he lists another. Just keep an eye on him and try bidding on weekdays, less comp. That or now that word his auctions has spread across the interwebz it will be impossible to get a decent deal.
I don’t know what that guy is doing, unless he just hijacked a shipment of sticks he’s gotta be losing money hand over fist on some of these auctions… even buying in bulk I don’t think you get shit THAT low, let alone low enough to sell stuff at a profit at that price.

From my and other peoples feedback, he cancels orders if they are below a threshold after a period of time.

Many of the items are refurbished or returns. The FFXI clock I finally got in the mail had a return sticker thing stuck to the box and was opened.
All in all, I kept myself in the loop and filed once I knew I wasn’t going to see my clock. If they try to NPB you after that, contact Ebay. They’ll make sure its reversed. After eBay reversed it, they ended up shipping me a clock for free. At the end of the story, I ended up ahead and they DID come through. I’m NOT saying that you should avoid their auctions like the plague. I’m just saying that you need to be careful because I did get the runaround with my item.\
PS. I don’t think I mentioned this but I won the FFXI clock for 2.40 with free shipping (I think). I wouldn’t have been out too much no matter what happened.

Dude, if people are posting deals related to ebay links and people have had shady dealings with those people in the past, ANY info on that is pretty damn relevant to the thread… It’s not just flat out complaining, it’s valuable info for potential buyers. Other than that, people are going to talk/comment on some of these deals, the thread hasn’t been in danger of getting off track at any point, no reason to go nazi yet…
Yeah but for a 3 year old thread that only has 15 pages to get 1 page in a day from discussion is a little excessive, but as long as free stuff still gets posted in this thread then it is all good.
