One has to ask, if Zoom was this powerful all along, why didn’t he just do it himself instead of sending others to kill Barry?
Either he’s lazy as fuck or he was using those goons to assess Barry’s power level. Only logical reasons I can think of
im saying he wants to reach the speed force and needs to steal power to get to it. but everyone pretty much says he evolved into the thing he is now. so the more speed he steals it must corrupt you. i dont think zoom was always this powerful…hes just grew to it by stealing vs barry will be that powerful naturally.

I figured he’s kind of like Wells was last season and is trying to make Barry better and get him more in tune with the speed force. Then he’ll be able to get more power from him. Zoom probably thinks he’s so strong that no matter how much strength Barry gets, he won’t be able to beat him.
Damn man! Zoom’s sfx and mask are on point. The way his mask interacts with him speaking, truly the creeps. Definitely the episode of the season, even Cisco was like “man, you got yo ass whooped!”.
So how are they going to explain Barry coincidentally suddenly being paralyzed from the waist down the day after The Flash is seen being dragged along the streets tattered and broken?
