The Flash TV Series Thread

It’s one thing to put people in a secret prison without due justice. I just contribute that to learning too much from Ollie.

It’s another thing to fabricate a false confession, offer someone freedom for said confession, and then imprisoning them afterwards anyway. Slippery slope.

He’s already on the slope. Might as well keep going because he’s going to be called a hero no matter what.

Alright, so we start killing guys, and then he’ll start taking control of the city because he won’t believe the cops are effective at their job.

I mean, this is what you want right?

That’s where the writers of the show put him. Should’ve given those prisoners to the police

To do what exactly? How were they supposed to contain them?

That could’ve come up after, or a deal could have been signed with S.T.A.R. Labs, or hold a trial in absentia. There were options, but none were taken. So…

That could’ve come up after - So metas run free in the meantime?

Deal with Star Labs - After the Particle Accelerator Explosion there’s no way Star Labs would be trusted with that.

On top of all of this, any deal with Star Labs would basically out Barry as the Flash.

Why? If it was still around after obviously they still have business coming in, and they didn’t have to mention Barry at all.

LOL @ inserting logic and grey morality into a tv show based on the Flash, one of the purest heroes in comics…

Star Labs has no business after the explosion. It’s probably only being run out of Wells’ pocket and from whatever funds they had left pre-explosion.

And as for mentioning Barry, if any deal is made, it’d probably be to use the Particle Accelerator as the prison as it is now. Which means the police are going to comb every part of the Labs and be a regular fixture there. So it would certainly be odd that the Flash works for Star Labs essentially and the only other person who spent or spends any significant time with Star Labs post-PAE…was Barry Allen. The only reason that line of reasoning isn’t being used now is because no one knows the Flash’s connection to Star Labs.

This is the one thing they can’t do. The whole point of bringing him in in the first place instead of just tossing him in a particle accelerator room was to show the cops that he is a shape shifter. By knocking him out, they have two Barry Allens, and that just can’t be. Or they can bring in fake Barry, then inject him with the stuff in front of the cops, and the guy transforms back.

Injecting him and THEN taking him to the cops just gives the cops a rubbery man that two ladies seem to be abusing. It doesn’t prove Eddie is innocent in the slightest.

Yo this ep was hype all thru it. No wonder it killed in ratings last night!

Tell me Sai

I never said toss him in the pipeline. Since they were going to take him to the police it would have been for the better. The way they went they had no way of stopping him from using his powers.

That’s because they don’t have another way of doing it that at all. It’s either take him to cops and show logical impossibility of his existence firsthand, or they won’t believe Eddie is innocent.

Why aint the Flash using his skills to win the lottery every week? Mess around with the stock market? The more I think about it the more Barry is defo an asshole.

I’ve been the biggest Flash fan since I was a kid. Truly one of my all-time favorite superheroes. I just can’t overlook this one thing on the show whenever someone tries to say Barry is the pinnacle of morality. He hasn’t been since he captured his first supervillain. He took the law into his own hands, and that was the choice of the writers, so they made him morally ambiguous. Sure, it was only one decision but that decision has affected a lot of people.

If the police ever caught wise, he’d be sent to prison for decades.

Does Joe know about the pipeline?

because heroes don’t do that shit…

superman could just kill…everyone but he doesn’t.

Well they were already bitching because of MOS.

Who would know? Who would be the victims? Spandex doesnt pay for itself dude, if he put the same amount of thought into making bank as he does pondering his semi-incestuous relationship… shiat.

Anyhoo on a serious note, how didnt Morphy die when Flash hit him with that rekkaken lol? That was a heavy ass whoopin.
