Defo, like am by far the most cynical asshole on this site but damn Ive been sold with this series, speedsters throwing out beatings and making it look good, never thought id see this.
I’m not really offended by the atom being an iron man clone, considering that was the best that the arrow was ever going to allow that character to be. We cant be forgetting already, that since day 1 this show has been about being a serious superhero show, no matter how ridiculous of a premise that is to begin with.
I think the arrow has probably just jumped the shark this season, and im not sure if it can make it back. Season 4 is going to be a struggle for the writers, bet it. I think theyve kinda boxed themselves in with their choices so far, especially with deathstroke and black widow.
Arrow is a character that can have a more down to earth superhero story told for years to come, with a dabble of something weird here and there, but i think theyve kinda fucked it up recently, especially with how they dealt with deathstroke. There is still tons of potential for the show, but after this season, im like, ehhh, imma still check for season 4 mainly because the first 2 were so good, and youre allowed a fuck up season, but cmon son, get with it.
Again, there is too much source material for these guys to even write one bad season. The flash embraces the flash in full, and will be a hit for years to come, creating fandom never seen before in a comic tv show. I think the director of arrow needs to get off his high horse and get his shit together.
I’m sure the execs are pressuring the arrows director and producers to change the show up a bit due to the flashes popularity, that will only get larger, as more and more people tune out to the arrow.

If you can’t handle that, then ignore the Arrow parts entirely and just think of them as background characters.
It wasn’t even suppose to be the Atom at all. It was suppose to be Ted Kord AKA Blue Beetle but DC vetoed his use. They went with Palmer since they couldn’t get Ted.

Season 2 arrow was amazing TV…season 3 arrow is what I always feared the show would turn into. The atom just got turned into a shitty iron man clone and Ollie copying batman is just annoying to watch. I know Ollie was intially a low rent batman but over the decades he was crafted to his own character with his own identity. This shitty batman-life Ollie just makes me want to watch batman as opposed to a cheap counterfeit version. I woudont be surprised if the joker showed up at this point.
Well the Flash owns the Trickster so I think Arrow is safe.
All Arrow has to do is throw Ollie back onto the island, and soon. It was always hinted that Ollie will eventually become the womanizing asshole we love.
I’m happy to write this season off, because we don’t need Deathstroke for Arrow to be good again.
Yeah this season needs to not have happened. It just made Ollie a really stupid asshole for no reason and the flashbacks suck this season too.
I’m invested in the current season of Arrow purely for Ra’s Al Ghul. He’s one of the greatest villains ever. I refuse Ollie’s stupid asshole attitude ruin my enjoyment of one my top Batman villains.
I hate this version of Ra’s. But I’m biased because I’m Australian. Matt Nable used to be paid to get dropped on the head (ex-Rugby League) and he can’t act for shit.
I let Aussie Deathstroke slide because Manu proved himself in the role and Slade was motherfucking Slade. Nable has done nothing but read a teleprompter.
I feel the same way about Vinnie Jones. He can be tolerable when he used in small bursts like his 3 episode arc.
