Ah damn, Iām stupid for not figuring it out sooner. Professor Wells is the Reverse Flash (the Zoom version), but not the one that killed Barryās mother. Heās using that suit to emulate the real RF and give Barry a push to train for taking on the real thing later-on (thatās Eddie Thawne ofc).
Possible (but less likely) prediction 1: Harrison Wells is Bart Allen, it would explain why heās so inspired to help Barry so much, but sees his weakness to help others as a weakness due to future knowledge (and not knowing him personally).
Possible (but less likely) prediction 2: Iris learns that Barry is the Flash, and during some dangerous incident she puts herself in harms way to protect him, resulting in her death and driving Eddie to the point of wanting to kill Flash. Eddie somehow finds out and forces Wells to recreate the incident that gave Barry his abilities, shit goes wrong and Eddie gains his speed plus a case of the crazies. Thus the real Reverse Flash is born and his reason to destroy Barryās life (he canāt kill him or stop him from getting his powers because it could disrupt his own timeline).

Seeing Flash fight Cold and Wave was spectacular. Dude from prison break is killing it as Captain. He has the demeanor down and can deliver the lines without coming off as cheesy.
