The only thing that would accomplish is at best, KF would drop a false name and send his ass on a wild goose chase. Even Oliver discovered that torture is an inconsistent way to gather information. That part wasn’t bad writing, there was literally no reason to waste time interrogating her when she had absolutely no reason to divulge the info and would take it to her grave.
The REAL bad writing of the episode was Future Barry not immediately giving Current Barry the information that leads to the Speedforce Trap immediately so he can get it reverse-engineered. That was 45 minutes of waste.
Okay then why don’t have Cisco vibe her. If Future Cisco can’t then he can always bring past Cisco. Hell there are so many ways to make her spill her guts and he has ALL THE TIME in the world to do it.
