Supergirl could have been added in literally at any time (just pop through a breach and “Oh wow it seems we meet again!”). Unless you think they’re going to be in the same world?
Last season was better. Zoom’s motivations went off the rails at the end. How he went to wanting to conquer Earth-1 to destroying the multiverse? When did Mercury Labs have a device capable of doing such a thing? Feels like an ass pull.
Yes, its going to be same world. I thought they might keep it seperate. Tell different stories, have barry pop over here and there, but nah, i doubt it. Theyre just gonna use this flashpoint opportunity to merge all 4 shows. This will allow them to essentially reboot shitty arrow and legends of tomorrow, while introducing supergirl into the fray.
Ollie can get a new suit, and take the show away from ollie and friends. Legends of tomorrow, who gives a shit. The flash can just keep doing what it do. Arrow shouldnt be having ELE’s with barry, and legends of tomorrow in their universe. Its one thing when arrow doesnt show up to barrys super powered nonsense shit, but when the world is on the line, and barry isnt stopping it, while a city gets fucking nuked, seems stupid as shit.
The whole “blowing up the multiverse” plan floored me in the first place. I mean, that’s literally impossible, right? (I think the Anti-monitor might have done something like that just because it’s the Anti-monitor and it’s strong apparently, but back to the point) First, you’d need to have a power source that blows shit up infinitely, then on top of that, you’d have to hope that there’s no place with the difference of having not been hit by the explosion.
They fucked up when they tried to give Zoom objectives other than “Take Barry’s speed”. But no, they had to throw in “Make Caitlyn mine” and “Multiverse domination”.
Give me Impulse, dammit.

Why is this going to be Flashpoint, exactly? Haven’t read it (tbh, I haven’t read many comics. Only New 52 JLA #1 + 2, Blackest Night, Convergence, Brightest Day, and the blackest night prelude. I’m new to comicbooks).
And do you think they’re really going to reboot EVERY show? I mean, It’d do them all a huge favor, yeah, but The Flash affecting all of their universe is going to piss off people who don’t watch it [The Flash]

Shit for brains over there thinks it’s gonna be Flashpoint because Barry saving his mom is what kick starts the whole thing. That one event causes a butterfly effect that changes the entire world. I don’t see that happening. He’ll probably fuck up time again like what happened in season 1 but there won’t be a massive universe wide reboot. The only time when something from one show affects the other is when they directly crossover.
Theyve dabbled with the flashpoint story line since season 1 episode 1. Theyve only twice shown how barry could fuck up the timeline, and reverse flash was adamant about barry not fucking up the timeline. I say theyre doing flashpoint now, because its finally the appropriate time to do it, and this early on. Doing flashpoint without supergirl on the horizon wouldve felt weird, but even though the finale seemed weird overall after all his lessons on time travel, its even easier to let slide because supergirl is there.
It would be of no benefit to have supergirl on the CW, and shes not a part of that universe. It would unnecessarily divide the 3 shows that share the same universe, and exile supergirl fans. Also, there is more to write when they share a universe.
Rebooting every show wont matter. Legends of tomorrow might not get the treatment that heavy though. Like, just do a new 52 light. Fans of the arrow wont be mad, as long as ollie is still arrow, felicity is still felicity, and speedy is still speedy. The rest of the cast of arrow can just go back to doing what they do. We dont need team arrow anymore in that capacity. Supergirl doesnt need much change. They could literally just continue the show in the same universe, and mildly change a few things.
**They wont share a universe until flash comes back anyways. Flashpoint is solidified when flash stops himself from stopping himself. In those first few episodes they could have things continue as is, and then introduce slight changes from flashpoint.
I get what youre saying though, especially considering supergirl ended on a cliffhanger. We’ll see how arrow ends tonight, and maybe i’ll rethink my opinion of where things are going. **

Overall I liked this episode. But there are somethings I just have to say:
Your plan is to shove Zoom back to Earth 2? Really? He can come back and forth anytime he wants. Shutting down the portals became a bad plan once he was able to create them on his own.
Time wraiths were such a deus ex machina. Zoom has been creating speed doubles countless times this season and we never saw wraiths for him (or a remnant for the entire season and nothing came of it). Barry does it and boom, wraiths show up.
Time Remnants themselves are a cop out. At any point in the story, Barry can make a Time Remnant to help out. I still don’t get how a Time Remnant gets created anyways. It seems 1 of them usually dies. So the previous instances of Barry going back in time…where are his remnants?
Rather than go back to save his dad, he decides to go back even further to save his mom? He’s destroying his present time with that giant ripple and he knows it.
I hope next season that his selfish actions cost him something major like Iris’ life. I would love to see his puckered little bitch face raining tears down because her death would be 100% his fault. I also hope the speed force takes his powers away and makes him live with it.
At this point the only way Barry redeems himself is to kill Iris.
So how smart is Zoom? He made his own speed suit, a speed dampener to weaken Jay, Velocity whatever, and the worked on the machine that he aimed to destroyed all planets within the multiverse.

Not nessisarily super smart. I think he is… But then again flashes can learn anything in like 5 min.
damn… so how badly did flash just fuck up the timeline at the end of this episode?
