No he didn’t. Plus he tried to actively commit genocide on an entire people, emotionally destroyed the lives of his entire family, and is generally unpleasant and petty to be around.
As much as Zoom threatens genocide he won’t actually do such a thing.
Don’t forget Ozai pretty much let his wife murk his father, then exiled her so he could get the position in the first place over his much more reserved and kind older brother, who was still greiving over the loss of his son.
Then he horribly disfigures his son for asking an innocent question during a war room meeting, emotionally manipulates his daughter into becoming an even bigger sociopath than he is, and imprisons his brother for saving his son’s life at the cost of allowing the Avatar to escape capture.
Sozin is worse than Ozai. Let his childhood friend die right in front of him to gain control, actually committed genocide. He may have been the Fire Lord, but dude was cold blooded.
Unsurprisingly, this episode STARTS OFF with the hot shit… holy crap, man… I already need to lay down and reflect on the awesomeness that just happened in the first scene. Jesus H. Christ… :wow:
