Jessie Quick is a speedster in comics. I don’t know if they are going that route on the show. Her origin is completely different on the TV Show. In the comics she was the daughter of two superheroes. Her father was a speedster and her mother had super strength. She wasn’t as fast as the Flash though.
no one was as fast as the flash. especially after wally hit the speedforce and was getin all these random ass powerups. she was soooooo salty.
but her father refused to believe in the speedforce as a mystical entity. he believed his speed came from a scientific equation which i have a suspicion may end up being velocity 9 in this show. it would make sense.
It seems too good a timing to have Wally and Jessie get plenty of screen time. They’re gonna get turned too

I mean, why make it a race thing? It’s all alternate universes, sometimes she’s black sometimes she’s white who cares? Joe and Iris being black has changed absolutely nothing in the show (which is the way race should be handled in media for the most part).

Its more one ass hole scientist downplaying him. But he downplays everyone. Jay is more important to me in a mentor role. Barry needs a mentor… All the flashes have had one. I feel like it helps alot from a super hero perspective. I loved wally and Barry’s. Loved max and Bart.

I thought they were talking about the show, even though iris was black on 2 earths. Theyre talking about the movie. Who gives a fuck. Make iris white for the movie to switch it up imo. Thats who she historically was.
