I don’t think there’s any reason to go back to Earth-2 at this point. Zoom will kill everyone there on a rampage.
So we got the real Jay Garrick in prison, meaning the one who just got bodied might be Hunter Zolomon.

The real Jay is the man in the mask. Zoom is the Jay we keep on seeing with Kaitlyn trying to get speed/repair his cells, etc.
Zoom does the same thing as Thawn did in season 1 meaning he can shape shift to look like Jay. That last scene in this episode was intentional to make it look like Zoom and ?Jay are different but Zoom just did that double vibration illusion thing like Thawn did in season 1 where it looks like Thawn beats up Wells and so forth. So yeah, The Jay Garrick that supposedly died at the end of this a episode is actually Zoom. How else could you explain why Jay didn’t show up to help Iris and Kaitlyn against that Seismo meta human… Makes perfect sense
Great episode as usual from this show. Not nitpicking but I did find it funny how at the start of the season they explicitly stated they beefed up security so people couldn’t do exactly what Geomancer did. I was thinking who the best villain of the Arrowverse is. Much as I liked Slade, it has to be Zoom. Legitimately the only one that seems a genuine threat every single time he’s on the screen
Kaitlyn need to go ahead and give Zoom some play. Whole conflict over in one episode.

That doesnt make any sense, because kaitlyn saw the degeneration of jays cells due to lack of speedforce, and how velocity 9 finally actually started his regeneration process again. Zoom and jay are acknowledged rivals in earth 2, constantly fighting each other. Unless you want to imply zoom has been beating himself up the whole time on earth 2, using a speed double that looks like jay garricks flash.
I think jays earth 1 hunter z is somehow zoom. I just dont know how. I dont think the person locked up is the real jay,but if earth 1 hunter z is really zoom, i could see how if he saw zooms face, he would think he is jay garrick.
Whoever that guy in the cell is, he knows who zoom is, hence why zoom has that mask on him so he cannot talk. Why he is keeping him alive, i dont know. Maybe the guy in the cell is earth one jay garricks biological father.
Maybe jay from another time line? when earth 1 barry phone his earth 2 mum did he mention his dad? (stretching for earth 2 barrys dad to be zoom or the prisoner)
So how would jessie quick come about? Velocity 9?
I don’t think Jay is dead yet. If the velocity 9 is still active in him it should keep him barely alive. They’ll need to find a way back to Earth-2. That’s how the Supergirl crossover happens.
Yes, jesse quick was created by velocity. I wouldnt doubt that by the end of the season, in order to beat zoom, wally and jesse take velocity to get temporary speed.
The only way jay is alive, is that zoom didnt kill him, but just phased his arm through his chest, and then yanked him back through the breach. The flash isnt about showing blood, so its hard to tell who gets phased through, and who just got punched through the chest at super speed until someone is dead…
The fact that he took jay instead of just letting him die there may lend credence to the theory of jay still being alive. Velocity 9 shouldve ran out in his system after doing what he did to reopen the breach. He said, well now we know how long velocity 9 last.
Other than that, the flash only has super advanced healing. It borders on regeneration, and its called that, but if he loses a finger, its gone. So if he got punched through the chest, hes definitely dead.
