I voted Minette based on Cellsai’s request, but TBH three out of four characters look really cool and interesting to me and the remainder doesn’t seem bad at all.
I don’t think 18th century bloomer shots count as fan service.

Bit late, but the “Aeon is going to be broken” talk amuses me, because that’s exactly the sort of thing the game is designed around not having. Heck, it doesn’t even fit with existing evidence; Marie’s also a potential character, and unless I’m misremembering they stated that her playable version would be balanced rather than a broken final boss if she makes it. Likewise, Mike Z not being happy with his idea of her at the moment isn’t a huge concern, as there’s been s few other characters (Leduc and Stanley among others, if I recall correctly) who he first said would be boring or terrible or that he had no idea how they’d be, then a while later he changed his mind because he actually thought about how they could work as characters and liked what he came up with. There’s no reason to assume the same thing wouldn’t happen with Aeon, and while this stuff hasn’t come from Mike Z I’ve heard some cool ideas for how she could work, even with the savestates stuff, like her being able to save the current screen layout and positioning (though obviously not health) and later reload it via a super or something. Kind of like Isaac’s self-assists but even weirder and cooler. Edit: Actually, I hear that apparently Mike Z has stated that he likes all the characters now, and that people shouldn’t feel pressured to vote whichever way, so that complaint is even less valid. Not that it stopped Event Hub from digging up a month-old soundbite to try to sway the voting.
That said, the whining is hilarious, so whatever. People want to work themselves into an apoplectic rage over imaginary problems, that’s their business. People who aren’t psychotic can just sit back and watch. Will make Aeon winning even funnier. (Disclaimer: I don’t actually know who’s going to win, I’m just betting on Aeon because I like her. Truthfully I can see it go any of the four ways, because for all the support each character has from whichever site, the majority of people are probably just voting and not being loud in whatever online community, making assumptions based on who’s popular at NeoGAF/4chan/Tumblr/wherever meaningless. It would definitely explain Aeon’s getting so far despite the relative lack of visible support, which is also why I’m confident in betting on her taking it all. She probably grabbed a bunch of Isaac votes when he fell out too, and probably some others as well.)
You rock, Minette is awesome not a boring so called “Loli” . She might be one of the most exciting characters in this game. Also the fact that she serves dishes to her customers and even has her customers help her in the fight is exiting enough, but the fact that she will level up with her confidence is even more awesome. Also you have to have a black and evil heart in order to talk bad about a adorable kawaii girl like her.

I just hope Aeon doesn’t win. I like her and she is interesting as hell but her (and her sister) probably should wait for SG2 or last dlc for this game. Besides Mike said she wouldn’t be as fun if they add her now
Actually, in one of the post-funding streams Mike said he was happy with all the characters and that people should vote for whoever they want, so he’s presumably figured out how to make her work.
