Selling Titan wins
I heavily use macros mainly in crafting. Levelling it up is so much easier with macros. I normally have Netflix streaming some 90s cartoon/River Monsters or have Pandora up while crafting. The only time I manually do crafting is if i want to hq something to put in AH.
Speaking of crafts, finally hit GS to 50 yesterday. Next up: Weave—> BlackSmith–> Leather. It’ll be awhile since i burned most of my leves capping Mining. It’s crazy how fast you burn shards once you hit 40.
ProTip: For new ppl starting in this game, unlock all the crafts once you have airship pass. That free 100-shards-giveaway is too good to pass up even if you not planning to level that particular craft.
I’ve been doing normal mode Titan. Pretty fun, and not that hard at all, but still haven’t found a pug that can get through it without wiping at least once.
Is there a range on Medica? I cast it on occasion, but I can’t tell if it’s hitting everyone. The delay between casting Regen on someone and the icon appearing on the character’s bar. Its make question whether I cast it
Medica does have a range.
Careful when casting Regen, make sure Tank has complete aggro otherwise you’ll be incased in that hard magma move.
Stick to using Cure 1 and hope for freecure to appear as your main spell.
Yes, Medica has a range. It definitely doesn’t cover Titan’s platform, especially if people are hugging the edges.
Macros are definitely useful for crafting. Pretty much the only thing I’d consider them necessary for.

I always was led to believe that Titan tomb attack was random, just like his frontal AoE.
Which one is the bomb attack? Is it in normal? Getting encased in rock doesn’t seem random. As the healer, I get encased first every time.
Cure 1 with free cure procs is definitely my main heal. I put regen on everyone when Titan jumps and I’m moving toward the ledge
So does the rock encasement hit the person with second highest hate or what?
Does anyone here play scholar? I’m interested in trying the class, but I’d like to know more about. I’ve read little blurbs about it not being very good.

Learned SMN shares gear, gotta lvl ACN from 34-50.
ACN gives you free 2 for 1 deal so I get a free SCH.
Finish full HQ Vanya’s set because I was too rich in game.
Learned SCH shares gear with WHM, gotta lvl WHM from 17-50
So by next week I’ll have BLM, SCH, SMN, WHM, MNK all geared out (I still have my 50 DRG but I hate that class so meh). My GSM/ALC/WVR are 50. Then I feel like I’d be content and wouldn’t need to do anything else.

Nope. Legacy and all crafts 50 selling to other Legacy players trying to be the first to clear Bahamut’s Coil. That’s how.
Sch’s current problems is pet control. She’ll fire off her aoe regen whenever a fight starts, and it only has a 1 min cooldown, but its problematic because sometimes you want to make sure its available when you want it.
Most of the issues with fairy’s basically boil down to these 3 things as far as I’m concerned.
1.No pet macros right now(including avatars/carbys), so no double curing the same target as far as sch goes

Setting a pet to obey will allow them to use their first 2 abilities, but as soon as you trigger the 3rd/4th yourself, it puts the pet into full combat mode, so you have to reset obey again. (another problem that pet macros could solve)

You can place pets and they can follow you, but you can’t make the pet follow a party member. It would be nice to keep the fairy on the dps’s while I hang on the tank, or I could be mid range, while fairy is near tank. The probelm with placing tho, is if you forget to recall the pet, they end up leaving, and you have to recast if you end up running too far away.
We need more pet control, so far healing as I have with sch using fairy on full auto has been ok, but I’m only 37 so idk how the later dungeons are going to be.
- Kinda forgot about this one, pets share gcd on a one way street, that means that I can trigger a pet ability and then start something of my own, but I can’t tell a pet to do something right after me, because my gcd will prevent that. So if i start my own action, instant or cast, I have to wait 2.5 secs to tell my pet to do something which is kinda stupid.
No one should be about this life.
I figured another 40-50 hours of grinding then I won’t need to log on anymore until raid time. And having 5 classes geared out means more versatility if my FC needs it. So I should be set… Should. Never know, because more shit keeps piling up. Always something to do. I do hate WAR/PLD/BRD (even though I have BRD to 34 for Quelling Strikes) so I won’t need to level any of them. Yeah. This game. Soulsucker.

Medica II is sexy as hell. And after finally getting to do an 8 man with a scholar instead of double white mage, I am definitely a fan. They work together nicely, or at least I did with that one guy. Makes it feel much cleaner instead of both casting the same moves and overhealing.
yo man you guys need to put some XP boost for once. Fucking teleport boost everyday
5% boost won’t even make a dent in your EXP gain. 20% discount on teleports is always better. But I’ll activate exp boost so you can see what little difference it makes.
EDIT: nvm, CK already activated teleport discount. Next time.
