I took a break Friday/ Sat to burn some levees, went from 100 to 50 abd leveled gold smithing to 28.
back on the grind, got 38 on my warrior before logging last night, I’ll try and get 40+ tonight.
I don’t see the point of grinding out full darklight+relic at the moment. Wtf am I gonna use the gear on? Especially as a tank, I don’t really need a sick weapon and the upgrade from 50 dungeon to darklight is nice, but not that significant. I’m just running ak for my 300 mythology tokens every week. EVeryones gonna be getting AF+1 at the same time anyways, no need to burn myself out on 5 mans every day.
That said, my luck on HM Ifrit is honestly the worst. I’ve done it about 15 times and still no marauder weapon. I would go for my relic weapon but I’m not blowing 120k on the materia I need when it’ll probably be a lot cheaper a few weeks from now. Or by then I’ll have converted gear and got it myself if I’m lucky.
So basically I run a bunch of AK for my 300 myth at the beggining of each reset then go back to leveling my archer with an Ifrit in there every now and then. Probably my game plan for the next month lol.
I need to find an NA-EST-based FC…the FC i roll now with are a bunch of EU folks so there’s barely any ppl when I’m in and its bustling when I’m about to log-off.
I’m saving my paper for that final stretch of either GS/mining.

You’re not tripping but the only flying mount thus far is the Voidal Resonator. You get this if you do the 90 day sub from SE. I tried to do it but i have to wait to the free period ends SE wouldnt take my money.

I wish I could be a no lifer. I was in a semi hardcore WoW raiding guild, so I’m about that life. But I don’t mind leveling alts in the mean time really.
Though from what I hear Coil has the same 90 minute time limit as all instances so you can only bein there 90 minutes a day? I like that, no “300 attempts/8 hours of wiping” nonsense that bleeding edge WoW guilds would do to down bosses. Shouls hopefully stifle progression a bit, unless it’s all 1.0 content and everyone already knows the fights…

Have the exact same stats as the one you get for doing all of the fishing achievements.
Got Ifrit weapon after 2 fights. Easiest fight for Paladin when you’re on stun duty and know his patterns. Stand there and press a button every 30 seconds.
They’re in all the major towns. I remember in Limsa it’s near the Aftcastle… It looks like a giant luau in the towns.
