Ok just had some questions as to how you pay for stuff.

Is it still $15 a month and like $1 for each extra character? Can I pay for like 3 months of game time ahead of time? Is there a way I can pay without them constantly storing cc info? Or is there going to be time cards? And no beta I’m not trolling either. I wasn’t last time as well. I just have trouble making up my mind. Sorry bout that.

Hello, this is FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Producer and Director, Yoshida.

The maximum expected population limit is nearing for each World, and unless the current World simultaneous connection amount decreases, we are unable to open release the limitation.

In case we do release the limitation, there is a high chance that the corresponding World will crash or cause issues, and we are thinking that it will be difficult for us to release it for a while. We please ask you to consider playing in a World that has a low limitation.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and ask to continue with your cooperation.

Discounted price if you subscribe longer. 8 characters per server. 40 characters max. Im not sure if there will be a prepaid subscription card, but I hope there will be since I like those better and there are tons people who dont have credit cards (Can anyone confirm this?). Too bad Im not getting the game. I don’t have the money right now to pay $15 a month, when I got other stuff to pay for. Hopefully I will be able to get the game sometime in the future, I had a blast in the beta.

Yea, made a new character and they couldn’t get into Leviathan.
Oh well.

However, there seems to be other issues with this game. For some reason it won’t launch after logging into the client. Lame.

Maybe they will do the friendship codes, where you can invite a friend from a different server, to bring their character to your server

It looks like there will be game cards as well from reading on the site. And there own version of currency as well plus credit/debit cards.

I keep getting hard crashes -_-. You know those ones where the sound loops and there’s no other option than to turn off the PC?

No idea why, haven’t had any crashes like that in months, and I was totally fine through beta 3 & 4.

Game hard crashed, and now I can’t get back in. 10102/90000 errors.

It’s happening to so many people, the official forum doesn’t even load up anymore because people are HAMMERING their servers with complaints.

edit: I keep looking at the ffxiv website, and it says all servers are online

Yea I’m getting 10102 as well. Oh well. I don’t work tomorrow either so maybe it will be working then.

I haven’t played FFXI in a couple of years but it would appear the maintenance team hasn’t improved since then.

canceled my reservation for this at the last second. Game looks dope, but i cant justify playing a life sucking game.
