Weapon switching: as you can see I can keep my air juggle due to the following reasons: the airstep sword allows you to have and keep an air extension. It also allows you to maneuver around as you please ( I’ll explain how to do it in another video) the broadsword doesn’t have air extention properties so I quickly switched to the airstep sword. Closely look at how I change weapons. Note: it consumes MP that’s why I entered statis mode. Only way to recover is to quickly warp and hang idle. In the final game you will have elixir and all that

Hold button Dodging vs tapping dilemma: you see that ground pound that he does? You cannot hold the defend button there, it’s unguardable same with the gravity magic that the iron giant does. That unguardable move is avoided by roll dodging

Attack canceling: during your attack assault if you sense the enemy is going to strike you can cancel. Just tap dodge in the direction you wish.

Warping rules: you can only warp with the airstep sword and shinruken to the warp points. However, you can warp attack with the broadsword and Airstep sword and shinruken. See how the warping points disappear?

Air maneuvering: while we don’t have air dodging if you correctly time it, you can avoid incoming swings. You can maneuver in any direction you like, just move the analog in the direction that you want. It’s a bit tricky at first but once you get the timing right you can be very tactical and flashy ^.^

Also, I figured out we’re both a little wrong about that ground pound. Auto dodge CAN dodge it but the spacing is really strange and pretty much luck since you can’t decide what direction you dodge in auto dodge. That’s also why even with manual dodging that move can be hard to dodge depending on where you stand in relation to it’s impact point.
