The Wildlands are a damn gold mine. I finally found an area to farm decent skills, so I’m finally doing respectable damage. It’s a relief not to be forced to use certain garbs just for their built-in Attack Lv.3+. Btw, what triggers Launch? It happened when fighting a Reaver… I hadn’t seen that shit since FFXIII.
P.S. Lightning looks like the cheerleader from Lollipop Chainsaw right now… Not my fault, I need the damage

Miqo’te Garb is really fucknig powerful the Magic Slash does insane damage to staggered foes.
And the moves that launch usually tell you that they can.

It was the Magic Slash on the Miqo’te Garb, actually… It never happened before, though. The Launch was hilarious. I’m fighting the Reaver like normal, stagger it twice, send it flying, hit it with a shitload of magic to keep it in the air, then both the Chocobo and I leapt up there to finish it off. That Chocobo is way too real.
What equipment do you have with your Miqo’te Garb?
In the forest. The monsters there drop Attack Lv.3, [Element]strike Lv.3, Element(Magic that does all elemental damage) Lv.3, Guard/Light Guard Lv.3, Blitz Lv.3… The list goes on. The weapon and shield I bought from there pushed my Magic schema to over 1600 magic attack as well.

Yea, that area. I don’t think the time matters, but try it in the day. It’s those Jellies, Monkeys, and Slugs that you want. I forgot what the wind things drop.
Ive done more in a day and a half (game time) with the guide than without it after 3 days. It seems like the whole “explore first, play later” style is too ingrained in me to play efficiently :sad:

Managed to get Sazh and Snow done in a single day, to finish snow i was spamming chrono at 12:58 and praying for chaos encounters the whole way through Snow’s palace.

I’m mostly disappointed with the Dragoon Garb(the weapons too)… It’s my favorite class in any FF game it’s available in, but I can’t even use it in this one.

I dont remember what accessories, but the weapon I use is Gagnrad. Shits beastly.
Dragoon garb is amazing.

Maybe I don’t have the right weapons and accessories for it, but the Candy Raver garb out-damages the Dragoon one by far.

It wont out damage a rightfully setup Miqo’te, Soldier of Peace, Dark knight, or Martial Monk
Use it to stagger.
is anyone jobbing to the Earth Eater? do you poison the fat fuck or what…I can’t find the last pilgrim crux…I used them all on the sandstorm but I got 2 tablets and need one more

Stagger the fat fuck once then throw debuffs on him, stagger again and just go in with your best Damage garb.
I know you find a few in the main quest area, and a couple in the desert. So, just roam around and you should eventually find a few.
Oh, I see… I’m using the Miqo’te garb as a debilitator right now. Candy Raver is Physical damage and Ignition is for Magic damage.
I just beat Caius too… Definitely one of the easier bosses. He can ToD you if you fail to block at the right times, though. Luckily, I had over 8000 HP so I wasn’t having that shit.
You can buy some in Ruffian.
Got Game Over… Lol. I’m guessing it’s because I didn’t do Sazh questline. Luckily for me, I saved an extra file in anticipation. Had to reload a few times due to time, but I got Sazh quest done. Hopefully I’m not missing anything else…

Oh my fucking god I just spent 30 minutes battling the second Chocobo Eater. I haven’t had an FF battle that keeps me on my toes like this a in a while.

I just finished all the main quests including Sazh, now I got 4 days to spare and do everything else.
BTW has anyone been able to find the rare forge?
I saw it once on the map but didn’t get to it cause I was in a hurry, but then it disappeared and I haven’t seen it since then.
