The guy isn’t interested in fixing anything in the fighting game community, hes just using it as a topic to get youtube views. On his last video I asked him if he wanted me to do a logical write up on the things he was incorrect about, with no name calling and that he couldn’t write off as trolling. I asked if he wanted to have a serious discussion with me about trying to help the community and his response to me was “get your head out of your ass” and that I was the one who wasn’t interested in being helpful to the community.
And all of this is completely separate from the fact that I am one of the few people that this guy can’t game by claiming he is part of the FGC. This guy is supposedly from Philly and I’ve played fighting games in this city for over 20 years. I ran the only set of local weeklies tournaments in this city for years and I worked at the last arcade left in the city for years. If that guy was who he said he was the first time I saw him wouldn’t have been in a video a few weeks ago. I’m on my way to the hotel for Summer Jam now and if I see this dude I’ll go up to him and talk to him about this but my initial guess is that he will be nowhere to be found.
If he somehow revisits this thread in the next two days, I will be walking around the Sheraton suites by the airport in Philly with a camera in my hands for the next two days, I am not hard to find. Come have a logical discussion with me face to face instead of crying on youtube to get views.
I will continue to regard him as a fraud and a joke until I can find at least one member of this community in this city that can verify having played him in a fighting game and that he isn’t a random button masher. He can tell people in Cali that he is part of the FGC, he can tell people in Europe he is part of the FGC, but I’m a TO in Philly and I have no idea who this guy is so he can keep all of that posing on youtube; meanwhile in the real Philly FGC there is a major going on this weekend.
Is my dude really complaining about how the game is played at a high level? Who cares if it is hadouken fest. People like and play the game for a reason.

The fact that homeboy can’t even just go to the Summer Jam venue and see Black Shinobi is pretty telling. I mean its not hard to go to the Sheraton and get a hold of somebody to get in contact with him.
I have been subscribed to this dude for almost two years. He has awesoeme opinions when it comes down to video games, but for everything else (especially in a competitive setting) he doesn’t know anything. Also that description cracks me up… It’s so infuriating, how did somebody from the internet hound you?
Just wondering why you think the ‘fgc’ is anything different than saying the 'rtsc’
lumping starcraft, command and conquer, total war games, company of heroes, etc. all together because hey, they are RTS games.
this is really the only place that treats itself in this way and from an outside perspective it is bizarre.
people who play tribes(1/2) don’t play quake really. they’re both FPS, similar in many many ways. neither gives a shit about the other. why would their shared interest in a genre of games be important to either.
the people who think there is some ‘fgc’ are the people in the majority fighting game groups (sf4, mvc3, ttt?)
to everyone else (3S, KOF, VS, GG, BB, VF, SC, etc.) these kinds of discussions just look funny.
The thing is he is probably thinking somebody is going to jump him or something cause apparently we are full of retarded thugs.

After the Devil May Cry thing I am guessing he ran out of a way to generate views…but he claims it’s for the fans… smh.
I really do hope BlackShinobi shows up… I want to see that not all of the people that talk to him are so called Keyboard warriors.
I honestly agree. I don’t understand why people feel that in order to get bigger we need to spread the butter all over the bread. The only way to ensure a huge community is to focus soley on growing one game to that level.
He blocked you?! Please don’t bullshit. If he can make a video calling out to a guy to meet him for a one on one, I highly doubt he’ll block anyone who confronts him.
Why not tell him this comment on his video instead acting like some polite gentleman there but speaking behind his back? Just saying.
