The Expendables (2010)

needed more scenes with charisma carpenter, man she hasn’t aged at all in the last 15 years.

Surprised SA was a bad guy but good of man fan service. gotta love it.

EXTREMELY EPIC ACTION MOVIE!!!

Saw it yesterday and I’m gonna see it 3 more times.

Only negative for me was Jet Li’s role.

And that’s it. GO SEE IT ASAP!!! :smokin:  :nunchuck:  :nunchuck: :smokin:

Van Damme was a great villain in No Retreat, No Surrender.

Good to hear that the movie is all it’s cracked up to be. I have a backlog of movies I need to watch.

Should be watching this tonight or tomorrow night. Can’t wait!!

gonna watch later tonight lolol:nunchuck:

Uhh this better not be a spoiler

nah SA is barely in the movie. only has a couple of lines. not to ruin it but the CGI in his fight was so bad

thought it was good overall but i have to knock it down to decent because of shaky cam

terry crews is the best

setup for obvious sequel

just got back from midnight showing of the movie

FUCKIN AWESOME

Got back from seeing this with my gf. We loved it. Only thing was missing was JCVD other then that awesome. I want to see it again.

Yeah JCVD was an idiot for passin up for this movie. He would’ve been great as a villian.

This movie kicked a ridiculous amount of ass. I wanted to see shit blow up in epic fashion and it delivered.

Eh, it was ok. Too much shaky cam/jason bourne cutting in fights, not enough memorable one-liners, most of the cast sat on their asses for most of the film until the big finale, and that Jason Statham subplot was ass.

basketball imo…

Saw it, thought it was awesome, don’t see it if you’re expecting a really deep story and/or fleshed-out characters. Some of the executions were to good!

[Spoiler=] That axe kick to the neck by Jet Li = BRUTAL!!!

Mickey Rouke’s monologue was quite believable and heartfelt.

Statham stole the show!

Saw it tonight, enjoyed it a lot. Steve Austin did a very good job, as did Dolph for the most part. Rourke was great, Eric Roberts was great.

Only think I didn’t like was the hand-to-hand fight scenes were too shaky. Especially when it comes to Jet Li, you don’t want the shakes. Couture vs Austin fight was good though, and there were a bunch of great bone-crunching moments.

Ultimately not as good as Rambo, but that’s a character we’d grown to know and love.

I disagree. There were good one-liners left and right (especially from Dolph) and Statham’s subplot was one of the best parts

all kinds of unnecessary lines and…out of place. its like they didnt really bother with retakes/editing. I liked rambo better(not by much…)

still a good micheal bay(I mean stallone) movie though. cgi was pretty shit for today’s standard. LT andrew scott still got it :nunchuck: steve austin was good. he could easily be in more movies.

vandammage is a fool for not being in this. not like his career was totally awesome or anything.

governator’s entrance was hilariously bad. I dunno if they were going for comedy or…

Am I the only person who kept anticipating the following things from Steve Austin?

  1. For him to say “WHAT?” at the end of every question while interrogating Stallone or the girl.
  2. For him to shout “HELL YEAH” whenever something goes his way.
  3. For him to kick the dictator in the stomach, stunner him, then have the guards toss him some beers at the audio cue of glass shattering.

I was expecting stone cold stunner and random beer

…not found :bluu:

I expected him to…
