Seriously…the only thing I wish is that he was able to get some black 80s badass instead of Terry Crews (who is still way better than 50 cent i guess).
Also just a technical note but that footage is a millenium promo, not an actual trailer. Promos are longer than trailers and are generally pretty sloppy (as this one is), just cutting together a bunch of trailer moments, but without the music, voiceover, and other effects that a finished trailer or teaser will have.
Jean Claude said he didn’t won’t his career going this route he wants to expand himself into more serious roles that don’t require him playing as a soldier or fighter. I can respect that he wants to do more dramatic roles the man wants to be remembered as more than some 90s actor and more as a great one. We have to remember that not all actors want to end up as a punchline for internet memes and shitty tshirts that are cliche , i.e Chuck Norris.
Been following this film for a while now, it has all the makings of an absolute action classic.

He needs to learn that even serious actors will be remembered for their pop culture roles. Will Ian McKellen be remembered as an uber Shakespearean actor or as Gandalf and Magneto? Van Damme should be glad he’s not Brian Blessed who will go down in history as Prince Vulcan of the Hawkmen.

this movie will own me. I am still waiting for a redband trailer. And JCVD is a fucking clown that will regret being in this movie (until the sequel). He doesnt care what kinda movie he does, he just doesn’t want to NOT be the star. So he doesn’t wanna be an action star, but makes another Universal Soldier and the horribly terrible JCVD movie?
This will certainly provide an antidote to the tween vampire shit that’s been taking a big smelly dump all over cinema recently.
