That’s wicked man, but how far away is the big guy supposed to be? It looks like he could either be the size of a mountain or just afew feet infront of the kid. Either way I think you should grey down the pure black shadows on his body abit and wash out his colour just to create more atmospheric perspective. But overall tis’ awsome.

wow man thats really dope! But aside from whats been said I would just change the way he’s holding his sword, I mean there’s nothing wrong with it, I would just make it seem like a tighter grip considering the stance he’s in. ^ ^

heh… the char in the foreground reminds me of Kenshin in his Battousai days (colour scheme) 
agree with what Dr.Sproctor is saying about the grip, I think extending the index finger will do the trick.

looking very nice so far. I like the perspective you got going.
I think his pose is kind of awkward. I think you could really use a solid stance so it feels like he’s sticking to the ground with mass. The sword could counter that leg in terms of shape making, so i would raise it up some. You could scew he persp on the big guy for a even more dyanamic composition. The rocks could use mor shape making, but i like the way you have it bent like like that. Just add more shape to it.
Overall very good work.
Oh and the shirt wrinkle could be mistaken for a boob so watch that.
