 cutting the watermelon
Looks pretty good.
And Vanille’s actress = O_O
Was there any mention of the capcom/namco game at E3? Or was my hunch right and they’re saving it for TGS?
Amazon has priced Kinect at $150 too.
Kinect doesn’t work unless you stand up?
Microsoft says false, developers say true…
I don’t mind standing while playing games (I do it quite often actually), but it will be disappointing if Kinect driver games require you to stand up, because sitting is pretty much synonymous with driving. It would feel incredibly unnatural to stand while steering.
" It has emerged that Microsoft has finally solved its long running RRoD problem in the new Xbox 360 Slim, in true Microsoft style ? by removing the red light from the design completely. "
so good.
what a racist
wow you have to stand to play racing games?
Considering they showed it working with movies and menus as well…
Mother fucking juggle combos? God this game looks fucking awesome. Ramona’s got her hammer yes!
That’s some ole bull, nw I have to exhaust myself with that shit. I take back being amazed by the technology now.
Wow, that old republic trailer is nuts. I need that game.
Using Kinect to fast-foward to different chapters in movies, or selecting your avatar or menu on the Xbox 360 is neat, but in the end, pressing buttons to skip movie chapters or to select your avatar works fine already.
I like the idea of Kinect, but much of what has been shown of it so far is fluff. I don’t doubt that there will be some incredibly unique games that can be created with this technology, but at the same time, I can’t help but wonder if it will have limited application to many of the current types of video games.
I agree, current batch of games are limited in appeal, the only really unique one I saw was the dance game. Year or so down the line I hope things are a lot different, I think RTS games would work really well, games like Sims, Black and White, Command and Conquer etc.
I want to see a special version of Fight Night on the Kinect
Heh standing in front of you map, hand to chin, thinking…hmm…reach out and hit the screen making your next commend.
I’d feel like a world conquering general lol.
Dance Masters: Parapara Revolution
I like the comment that points out the irony of having a big titty cougar do the voice for an obnoxious loli. But yeah, I probably would hit it. I’d be curious to see what kinda noises she made in the sack, lol. I also wonder what her personality is like when she’s not forcing an act around a bunch of gamers, watch her be walk out of the convention and turn into a stone cold bitch.

wow. this natal tech seems really shitty, forreals. i’m guessing it uses basic facial recognition software to find your head and recreates the infrared(or whatever the sensor uses to track depth) to reconstruct your body for tracking, but it needs a standing template to track. so in order for them to track everything, you need to be upright… so no controlling natal sitting down, definitely not laying down… i have to wonder…
i could be wrong about that, but that seems like the most logical way of how natal works. if so, that could be a problem with people with dresses, baggy clothes, players with handicaps. hopefully things like long hair don’t ruin tracking as well.
i wonder what the fix would be though… partially recreating the skeleton based on them sitting down (such as just constructing the upper torso and taking the feet out of the equation.)? force players to calibrate and then sit down and do your best differentiating what is couch and what is person? this is a pretty big deal since they want you to control your dash board with this shit… i don’t think standing up and yelling at your tv are ideal replacements for a remote control.
Should have got a freelance press pass. Sigh.
