I hope the GT5 release date (coming out this year) is for real. Top Gear test track being included is reason enough to get it. I want to know how much slower I am compared to The Stig’s lap times. Even without the ‘fear of dying’ mentality you get from playing a racing game.

Hyped for Lords of Shadow. I wonder how many of the SOTC inspired Titans will be in the game (hoping for at least 6). The game’s probably too far along in development to add it but I’d love to see a boss rush (time trial) mode you can unlock after beating the game.

no…The conference was disappointing IMO. There’s gameplay of Castlevania already out so they just had a new trailer for it. They showed the exact same trailer for MGS: Rising and they did give us more details on it but the fact that they had shown the trailer already sorta mad me ‘meh’. We did get a completely new game from them though in NeverDead.

Some people earlier in the thread siad they’re probably waiting for TGS so we’ll see.

You think if Konami hadn’t shown the MGS and Castlevania stuff before E3, it would’ve been umm less disappointing?

I like how the FF14 guy went out of his way to let ppl know 14 will have darker skin tones. Glad they finally bumped the customizations.

Yes I do, however do to the fact that their conference is on the ending half of E3 iif they would have shown that MGS Rising trailer then that would have been fine but I doubt they’d want to hold back Castlevania until then. If Konami had kept their MGS trailer then Microsoft could have filled that slot with something else to push…like Crackdown 2 or some other exclusive title that was coming out. Instead I’m sure Microsoft probably nudged Konami to let them use the trailer for their conference.

No one really knows who The Stig is. Some say he thought Star Wars was a documentary, and that he knows two facts about ducks and both of them are wrong…

Basically he’s the test driver on Top Gear and knows their track like the back of his hand. He takes the cars they review and records a lap time which is ranked against all the other cars that have been on the show. There are a lot of his videos, and of the show on YouTube you can find. One example, he completed a lap with the Bugatti Veyron in 1:18.4. I’d like to see how I’d compare to his time in the game since Bugatti cars are in GT5. I’m guessing I finish either 1) off the track and DQ’d or 2) 5-10 seconds slower.

Oh, lol. When you were talking about his times, I though you meant times he got while playing GT5 prologue or something.

There’s a guy that goes by that handle on PSN and plays modnation. He’s probably a fan of the real Stig.
