I really like what they have planned for Miiverse even though it’s kinda of like having a forum connected to your console at all times.
That acting presentation was parody gif fodder though. I’m sure someone is going to do something with it lol.
Miiverse has super strong Animal Crossing implications, among other games. Or all other games.
I like the fact that messages will show up on the controller instead of the screen. The NFC is nice, but I dont see the real application to it at this time.
I would like to know if the controller is still only single input touch. I think that add multi-touch would be super beneficial regarding new ways to approach console gaming interaction.

The Miiverse sounds really cool. I like the ability to take in-game screenshots, and passing game content to your friends. The latter has some real potential, I think. I would love to see what the devs come up with there.
The ability to send pics to the TV screen is going to be crazy. 
You know there’s going to be messed up shit involving that feature.
NFC will work easily for extra physical content I.E. Cards, figures, etc. That makes it easier at least Activision’s part with the sequel skylanders game that’s coming out. Rayman Legends already has ideas for using it in their leaked trailer so it’s just a matter of if developers having an idea for it they have access to it.
The wii u doesnt seem that impressive to me right now,the controller idea is cool and they are offering a different controller option but idk,I guess I have to wait till e3 really starts to see what games are being released for it because only game I wanna play on wii u is the next zelda and maybe the next smash
I can already see parents looking at that video chat feature and going ‘…hmmmm…idaknooowwww…’. I’m wondering what the restrictions are for that cause I know there has to be. Maybe only people on your friend’s list perhaps?

Wii U Classic control pad
I’m looking at it and I still don’t know how I feel about the position of the second analog stick and the buttons on the right. Everything else looks nice. Also want to point out that it looks like it’s going to use a mini usb cable similiar to PS3’s dual shock so it won’t be tethered to anything. I’d probably have to actually have the controller in my hands for a true verdict.
Edit: people on gaf are saying it rips off Microsoft’s controller but it really only half does it since the right side is switched.
