Anyone who has worked in a lab doing research could tell you that good science can’t be rushed and many times accurately forecasted. Deregulating different parts of the drug approval process will have far-reaching consequences for the pharma and biotech industry. Which, if no one has been paying attention, is the sector that has spent the most money lobbying the Repubs and demos alike. Part of me believes the deregulation of the process is a long-game to help out those industries hoping consumers will see the cost-savings in lower drug prices.

I’m against people, in this case a president and/or his family members, using their position for ILLEGAL ACTS THAT MAY BRING HARM TO THIS COUNTRY. A president has to deal with foreign interests all the time. That much is part of the job. As long as the dealings are legit, I have no problem with it. If they get caught doing dirt, hang their ass. If one can reasonably prove that so-and-so might be compromised, then that should be weighed against the possibility of them gaining the power of the office of the President of the United States.
Dear Joe Biden: Your son has gotten caught in a mound of dirt, mostly white powder colored. While I’m certainly no fan of Hillary, even her daughter Chelsea managed to keep her nose clean…ALL the pun intended…during her presidential run. Hillary may not have been worthy of the seat, but you can’t say it was because Chelsea was caught with a crack pipe in one hand and underage dicks in the other.
